Hotels in Tiergarten, Berlin

Good hotel, reasonable, great location and attentive staff. Breakfast is very generous, so pay for that. room was small, but had a desk and full bathroom and double bed, what else could you ask for. View was a parking lot but it also meant that it was quiet. Hot water pressure and internet speed were both good. Bathroom showed its age a little, but was fine.

After really looking forward to staying at this place, I was a bit disappointed. It is clear they lack in maintenance staff and also some housekeeping. Though the facade of the hotel looks beautiful and staff is really friendly, the rooms just gave me 'the ick'. After checking in and being sent to a one person room (I booked a double room), so it was a messy start. They apologised and offered to bump me up a category, which was really nice! When I came in the new room, I noticed some questionable spots in the carpeting. Like the kind where you do not want to guess what it may be. As it was 2 am by that time, I went to sleep and showed pictures of the room the next day. I was offered to change the room. I did later that night after being out with my friends. When I woke up the next morning, I wanted to take a shower. The showerhead was filthy however. That led me to do another check of the room, finding similar issues as before. I called staff to have the shower issue fixed, which they did. It was actually exchanged for a new one. At checkout the next day when asked about my stay, I said I wasn't impressed. Then I got told I should have told them so I could have changed rooms... I was too exasperated to explain that switching rooms 2 times for a three night stay was already annoying enough. I was also told to come back in a year as 'maybe I will be lucky and get a refurbished room then'. Which was a weird joke to make. Other than that, great hotel, they have amenities and all you could want and the staff was really friendly!

The bed in this room category was incredibly soft. I suspect it's quite old, as I just sank into it completely, offering absolutely no proper support. I had a terribly uncomfortable night and barely slept at all. I had expected the bedding to be similar to the Marriott in Copenhagen, but this particular bed at the German Marriott was surprisingly uncomfortable. It was nowhere near as comfortable as the twin room I stayed in the following day.

Stayed 5 nights. Hotel in quiet street currently without through traffic as building work going on at the end of the road. Close to bus stop for 200 - we walked from main station through Tiergarden which took 45 minutes! Very close to Tiergarden (we heard nightingales) , 10 minutes from zoo. Room had microwave, kettle, fridge and stove, ask at reception if you needs plates or pots etc.. Reception closes at around 10.30pm, very helpful friendly guy. There is a lift. Didn't try cafe for breakfast as seemed pricey. There are a few tables and chairs out the front so can bring your own beer and sit outside of an evening. Enjoyed our stay, and bought travel tickets as it's about 30-40 minutes walk to Brandenberg Gate etc..

Ich habe gestern eine Nacht in diesem Hotel in Berlin verbracht und war wirklich positiv überrascht. Schon beim Check-in wurde ich freundlich empfangen, alles lief schnell und unkompliziert. Genau so sollte es sein. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und angenehm ruhig, sodass ich richtig gut schlafen konnte. Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass alles gepflegt und durchdacht wirkte, nichts war abgewohnt oder lieblos. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls top – gute Auswahl, frische Produkte und für jeden etwas dabei. Auch der Service war aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Lage ist ideal, man kommt schnell überall hin, egal ob geschäftlich oder privat unterwegs. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen.

The environment is super comfortable and the location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. We stayed for three days, and the room was bigger than expected. The hotel has an eco-friendly approach, so rooms aren't cleaned daily, but you can easily schedule it in advance through their website. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great location near station [10 mins walk]. Met on arrival and reception staff were very helpful. Clean comfortable rooms with new laundry each day. Really enjoyed gym and sauna facilities that were a perfect tonic after a days sight seeing.Certainly value for money and would recommended to others.

Probably the best hotel I stayed in, overall, during a multi-stop trip to the area. Very helpful staff greet and guide you. A pleasant bar and superb, if a little pricey, breakfast. The room was very well done and comfortable except I couldn't adjust the A/C. Great location relative to the tourist sites, but a bit far from the subway; the bus can take you there.

This business trip was to go to the exhibition, because this hotel is the closest, so I chose their home, the first foreign hotel. The overall feeling is not bad, mainly close.
