Had a great stay here! The room is spacious, clean and modern with all the comforts you need. There is luggage lockers, laundry and common area on the ground floor making it suitable for all types of travellers. The building is very secure and has an inviting vibe from the moment you walk in. I would recommend completing the guest information via the Hotel Bird app before you arrive to ensure check in is easy. The hotel emails you a great information pack on the first day about using the amenities which is really helpful.
It is close to the train station, eateries, supermarket and pharmacy so you have access to everything you may need. However, if you are looking for nightlife in Berlin this is not the right area to stay as there is not a lot going on.
The only two pieces of feedback would be the comforters felt a little dusty and there was some dust under the bed as well. The english instructions to use the laundry could be clearer.

Stayed for two nights, the sheets were fine, the towels were not replaced, the breakfast was at the same price, and the other stores in the boutique hotel were worse. The quality of the service staff was also the same. The waiter in the restaurant would not care about you except for greetings. The front desk was friendly, but not professional. Especially a woman, emotional management ability let me suspect that she has mental problems, I politely ask printing, she will not play, stuck in one of the steps, in fact, say that she will not do it, she suddenly raised the tone, very loud repeat: this is where I will not! Repeated several times, people who didn't know thought I quarreled with her... How can people with emotional management skills work at the front desk of a hotel that claims to be a 4-star hotel? I felt too outrageous anyway and scared me.

It's just average, so it's hard to rate.
The transportation is good, making it easy to get around, and there's a tram stop. The room facing the street was noisy. The front desk staff seemed unskilled. A man told me I hadn't paid the city tax when I checked in. I said I had, and he asked me to show him proof. I tried to find it, but when I tried to find it in Chinese, he said he couldn't understand Chinese. I showed him the booking receipt, but he said no, he needed an English invoice. ”Okay, I'll take my time looking for it.” I called Ctrip customer service, which I give a thumbs up for being very responsive. The receptionist told me to get out of the way and look in the back, where there weren't any other guests waiting. A little later, he came back and said he was sorry he'd noticed I'd paid the city tax. The stay was pretty average.
The room was filled with a strong, stinky aroma, which definitely wasn't a scent. I put up with it for two days.
The only good thing was that there was a Vietnamese-Chinese restaurant nearby, and the congee was delicious! It was a welcome relief for a Chinese resident.

This place is a bit far from the center of Berlin, but it seems to be a safe and, according to locals, affluent area. There isn't staff on-site all the time, but I was able to check in via internet call. The showers are shared between men and women, which is common in Germany, but there seems to be a separate women's shower room, so effectively they are separated. Both the showers and toilets were clean; I had no issues with them. However, since it's on the ground floor and faces the street, I occasionally heard voices, footsteps, and smelled cigarette smoke from outside, but that's to be expected. I'd likely stay here again on my next trip to Berlin!

I took my dad to Berlin for a three-day, two-night trip, and the hotel was small but charming. The facilities were excellent.
1. The air conditioning offers both heating and cooling, not just a cooling function.
2. The towel rack is heated, so bath towels dry quickly.
3. The towels are of great quality; my hair dried fast after wrapping it.
4. There’s a shoehorn provided.
5. There’s an electric kettle.
6. For breakfast, you can order omelets and waffles à la carte.
7. The window view is lovely.
8. The location is convenient for transport.
9. The mattress is specially designed for people with spinal issues; even with his bad back, my dad found it very comfortable.
10. There’s a special waterproof and stain-resistant mattress protector, ensuring the mattress stays clean.
11. The elevator isn't particularly small.
12. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic.
13. The toiletries are from Rituals.

I went because of the pool and I didn't use the pool because there was a conference on the day I went. I would like to put the pool notice more accurately on the homepage. Other room facilities were good.

We had a lovely stay. The location is great, right by the tram and S-Bahn. The bar on the 14th floor has an amazing view. The bar team is very dedicated and creates fantastic drinks. Breakfast is standard, good enough for a 3-day stay. Parking costs €25 per night.
The 24-hour kiosk on the ground floor is a good idea. However, where's the discount for customers for the lack of service? I'd rather get my beer at the bar; it's the same price, but at least you get service there.
Otherwise, we'd be happy to come back.

The Old Town Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Old Town Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Berlin. The hotel is conveniently located a short 1km drive from Greifswalder Straße. In addition, Senefelderplatz Metro Station is just a short walk away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including World Time Clock, Volkspark Friedrichshain and Berliner Fernsehturm. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.
Very good core location, no noise. The room is high, the design is reasonable, with a separate bathroom, dry and wet separation. There is a cabinet with a door card lock in the room, which is very safe. The front desk helped us arrange a room with a girl in the absence of a girl's dormitory according to our requirements. The garden is great too, everything is fine anyway! Highly recommended.
I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service.
First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it.
Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason
is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning.
It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here
again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.
