The price was good, and the TV was big and new, with English channels available. It's located near a shopping district with lots of stores and restaurants. It's also close to the subway and bus stops, though it's about 3-4 bus stops from the train station and a bit far from the city center. We walked back from the Brandenburg Gate through the woods, and it took us 45 minutes, not the 30 minutes mentioned in some reviews! The free croissant and coffee were delicious, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English. There were many international guests, and the area felt safe with no homeless people around. The only downside was a bit of trash in the neighborhood that wasn't cleaned regularly. The room was a bit small and dusty, but it didn't bother us too much, and some of the facilities were a bit old. Also, my friend and I had requested two single beds, but we only got one. The pillows were also too soft.

The hotel is very well located and the room is wide and air-conditioned, the staff are friendly and helpful, but the room is all covered with a carpet that looks dirty and sweet, but I think it's worth staying. I recommend that anyone wants to be well located and not spend much.

The stay was really comfortable, clean, and quiet. There's also a bar downstairs that offers a complimentary drink. The room had a fridge, which was a lifesaver in the hot weather for chilling water. They even left a bottle of water and an electricity card while I was out, which was a thoughtful touch. The transportation nearby is very convenient. It's really close to the zoo, about a 5-minute walk, and I had a great time seeing the pandas! I forgot to take pictures of the room though, so I'll use a panda picture instead! 😂

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel. On average the reviews were ok, but there were some that had me a bit worried. However after staying here I can definitely say that I fully enjoyed my stay and have no complaints. Location: Excellent! The hotel is just off the main shopping street and has good access to transportation. There are shops, grocery stores and resturants in walking distance. Building: Yes it is an older building but it is well maintained. Sure it could use a few updates but there was nothing that I found wrong. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no air conditioning but this is expected in most older european hotels and a fan was provided. The shower was very clean, had good water pressure and good temperature. I saw a few people in other reviews complain about having to leave the keys when going out, but this is common in most older hotels in europe where actual keys are used insted of door cards. Its actually a good thing because it avoids you having to be responsible for it and paying a hefty fee to have locks changed if you lose the keys. Service: This was the real winner for me. Everyone was so friendly to me and very helpful. I felt welcomed and I really appreciated this. Price: the price was competative with the market. It wasn't the cheapest but was not expensive. It did offer good value for the price. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is 10 min walk from Zoologischer Garten and Kudamm. The building and the interiors could use some renovation, but I don't mind these details, so I was fine with those. My room was really small, yet I was travelling alone, so it did not make much of a difference for me. Important things are, I had clean sheets and towels, hot water, pretty good breakfast, decent Internet connection for work. Also in the plus side, there is air conditioning in the room, which is not very common in Berlin. As a side note, when I asked the front desk if they could pick up my Amazon delivery, the very friendly receptionist told me that they were not accepting deliveries anymore, so I had to use the Amazon lockers in the next street (which totally worked fine by the way, just remember this in case you need to order anything). 

The hotel is modern and very beautiful. There are some restaurants in the immediate vicinity but most of them are not great. However, one bakery is superb (at the campus only a minute walk away). Very friendly staff (the courteous Mr. Kunal checked me in). Unfortunately the coffee which I got as a welcome drink was the worst coffee I had this year (embarassing).

The location was good, close to the metro station. No kettle in the room, if we wanted to have a cup of tea, we needed to ask for a paper cup at the reception, then pay and self-serve at the breakfast place.

Very spacious and modern rooms with a great view from the window. The free parking is a great addition and definitely adds value. Breakfast is quite expensive, which is typical for business-style hotels, but there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. The location is convenient with good access to public transport. Overall, great value for money.
