"The place will send you a code to gain access on the day. There was actually someone there on the day to help if I needed it. The room was really clean and comfortable aswell as spacious. Considering the price, the location was really good too!"

"A £40 room disguised under a £110 price tag, depending on which night you choose. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The walls are paper thin (outside noise is expected in Brighton but the noise was coming from normal conversations people were having in adjacent rooms, and toilets flushing above and to the side). Asked for a room close to the lift and was given a room at the very end of a series of corridors, accessed via two additional flights of stairs AND a lift). Was charged £7.50 for a pint of Red Bull (yes, just Red Bull). Hotel attempted to charge an arbitrary ‘late checkout fee’ to my card on exit, which I declined, as the majority of the lateness came from the 20 minutes we waited for the solitary lift each time we needed it. If you do book, keep a close eye on the price, as it changes every day. By cancelling and rebooking I saved £20."

"The design of the hotel is very retro and modern. The bathroom is clean, the shower water flow is normal, and the view outside the window is beautiful. When you check in, they will help you send your luggage to the room. When you check out, you need to take your luggage downstairs by yourself. The stairs are narrow and steep, so elderly guests should pay attention."
