"Sadly the hotel is dated and that’s ok but the room was dirty cobwebs and dirt the curtains are very dirty and the edges of the carpet haven’t seen a hoover in so long there was red blood looking stains on the pillow and the sofa in the room was very dirty .The changing room was so cold after our swim  very unpleasant. this hotel was our favourite so we wanted to go back .but there was so many things that were a simple fix"

"Never answer the phone. Then after two and a half days of no answer we went throught customer services who put us through using a different number. We were then told by a member of staff that we had been allocated a room with a bath. This wasn't the case when we arrived and the manageress acted really sceptical that we had spoken to anyone at all."

"We visited nearby Wroxham and found this delightful pub a few miles away going home. What a find! We were welcomed by the amazing staff and were seated in the lovely bar area. We had our little dog that they made a fuss of. Service was faultless. The food was just the best pub food ever. It was all very hot, fresh, tasty and well presented. The overall quality was excellent all round. We were too full for sweets, however decided to have one as the food was so nice. Again not disappointed at all! Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Can’t wait to visit again soon."

"We have just stayed here for 5 days over 'Twixtmas' to enable us to stay locally for a close family funeral, together with friends over from the US and our Black Lab. From the get go (even calling up to make a booking or 3 that later needed some tweaking...thanks Ollie!) all was done to make us welcome, comfortable and cared for - right across the team; Nigel, Jean, Becky, Sadie, Ollie and others (sorry, could remember all!) We ate like kings! Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before (great plan!) and the bacon was delicious! If you cap it off with great value and a selection of brilliant locally made Ales & Gin, it was superb! Thanks Team Marsham!"

"The room was good and the large bed welcomed as my wife and I like to spread out at night so a big bed is essential. Facilities were good and standard of hotel was good for what we paid. The only negative were certain parts of the breakfast so 1. Orange juice tastes like it is watered down. 2. The bacon was over cooked and hard 3. Scrambled egg was very dry. 4. The fresh fruit was limited to tinned grapefruit and prunes so very 1970’s."

"Please make sure you check your booking if you’ve used one of their deals even if you follow the link you will find that your free breakfast’s have not been included, as we found out to our cost! You will also find that you spend three hours dealing with customer services , two different staff members neither of which had a clue what was going on, no refund of the breakfasts that had to be paid out for because they had failed to put them on the booking. Even with evidence of the deal booking dates, et cetera. After many years of staying with Premier Inn, this will undoubtedly be our last visit, shocking customer service that really needs addressed!!! the room and facilities were fine, clean tidy and value for money,, the staff were friendly at this location , evening meals were good, breakfast however was slow with limited choices and both days having to wait for eggs and bacon as not enough were cooked, no mushrooms and very dry overcooked hashbrowns!! Unfortunately, they are no longer Premier."

NOTE Although it is advertised as Great Yarmouth it isn't in Great Yarmouth. It is a drive away. There is a pub 5 mins walk away as well as a few takeaways."

"We wee offered a twin room although we requested a double, but the receptionist was very helpful and, with housekeeping, converted it into a double forthwith. The location was good and quiet, and the breakfast selection was reasonable, but very well cooked and one of the better English breakfasts we have had in the country. We assumed that the swimming pool usage was not part of the deal, and regretted not using it when we found out that there was no additonal fee for it. All in all, a very pleasant stay."
