"My colleagues and I stayed at the North Branch for a few day business retreat. Could not have been more pleased with the experience. The hotel itself is as pictured. Three properties each with their own unique character. And the property out back of each is really lovely. A couple of fields with fire pits, yard games, and two lovely rivers. You have to be in the market for an old-school inn: old school, creaky floors, period pieces in every room. But absolutely charming. Really. But the staff were the stars of the show. We felt absolutely looked after every moment we were there. And the food was amazing. Chef Jake used to have a restaurant in one of the trendy bits of Brooklyn and it’s NYC’s loss. Among my colleagues are frequent diners at some of the best restaurants in the city and Chef Jake’s meals consistently elicited “wow” and “f*ck, that’s good”. Easily some of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I don’t write many reviews, but wanted to gush about North Branch because I want them to be successful. A really special place well worth the trip."
