Beautiful hotel with its greenery and winding pools. Location is excellent along a not too busy street. The reception was attentive to our needs. Assisted us when I needed medical care, there is a hospital nearby. They kindly extended our check out time as our flight was in the evening. Breakfast spread was excellent and so was the in room service. Thank you.

Location very good and easy access to services, food & beverages. Breakfast has a huge range of options both local, Asian and Western but would be nice with a basic self service coffee and juice bar also. Staff overall nice and helpful. Rooms are a bit worn and rather small given the price though seems most other options in the area are also very expensive.

We had an amazing stay. My little boy approved. Even after staying 3 days 2 nights, he said, ”I still want to stay at this hotel.” We loved the pool, it's huge and even got a deep area. On mornings, there are kids activities by the poolside. The menu for breakfast varied. Yet I have to note the staff need better coordination during breakfast times when it's full. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and this morning I had to walk around looking for a seat. It's better to make a waiting list if the seats are full so guests don't have to walk around looking for an available seat. Perhaps use walkie talkie between staff at the restaurant reception and another staff taking notes of available seats.

We visited this hotel 2 weeks ago, receptionist greeted us with smile, booking process only need several minutes, there is comfortable lobby for waiting and very wide pool. We booked suite room because its the biggest room for us to take maternity photo and there is bathup with nice night city view. BBQ night dinner taste was awesome with butter rice, various fresh fish, sirloin corner, salad bar and lot of desserts. Breakfast taste is good and mostly indonesia traditional food, you should try their porridge. Dental kit using great quality with branded toothpaste. Checkout process very fast and after that we go to pasar baru with 3 minutes walk. Special thanks for receptionist staff and restaurant staff for your friendly services. We definitely will be back if there is chance.

My last staycation in Shangri-la hotel Jakarta on 31 May 2023 was amazing. The dinner in satoo was delicious and the staff especially the waiter, Mr. Bayu so friendly and helpful. My most recent staycation was at the Shangri-la Hotel in Jakarta on May 31, 2023. The dinner at Satoo was great, and the waiter, particularly the waiter, Mr. Bayu, was extremely nice and helpful. I booked this hotel because it looked pretty nice online but I was super disappointed. At check in I paid and did the paperwork but they made me wait to get my key even though it was 4pm and check in time is 2pm. I didn’t understand if the room was not ready or why I had to wait so long just to get a key. The receptionist was overwhelmed with calls and people walking up and I guess he forgot about me because I only got a key when another receptionist finally came out and took my information again. The key has the room number handwritten on a piece of tape holding the wifi code. Spoiler alert, my wifi worked for about two hours and hasn’t worked since. You walk in and immediately face the toilet bowl which is unsettling. The bathroom is super tiny with no sink counter space and one towel and one bath mat. The toilet roll was almost finished so whoever prepared the room barely did anything which made me worry how clean it actually was. I’m not a fan of the pillows which look like bigger versions of those neck pillows you use on flights. Maybe some people like that but I didn’t. They did have two regular pillows on a shelf though. The room is small and disappointing. I booked non-smoking but it smelled of smoke and noodles or something bad and when I called down to complain they sent a guy to spray the room. It lasted maybe half an hour before it smelled again. I didn’t sleep well. The nice things are the tv which is a good size and the AC worked well. I’m still iffy about how clean the sheets are. The fridge wasn’t that cold. The staff didn’t really understand my complaints and ignored me telling them about my wifi twice or perhaps didn’t understand. I asked for a refund and to check out the day after I checked in Eve though I’d paid for three nights. They said accounting has already processed the payment so no refund which makes no sense. Have they never had to give a refund? I don’t want to stay but they refuse to refund my money even though I stayed one night and paid at the property. That’s unacceptable to me. All in all I think they mean well but honestly I don’t recommend this hotel unless you really just don’t care where you sleep: there are cheaper options I’ve stayed in in Jakarta that were far nicer

I quarantined here with my friends from February 2nd to February 6th. I understand this hotel is very cheap (even for Indonesian standards, I guess), but I did not appreciate finding hair everywhere from others in both my bed and in the bathroom. The walls had, what appeared to be water damage/mold. The toilet seat was old and disgusting as well. Now, I may be a bit bacteria freaked but I'd say that this was a definite low. I understand Indonesia has been heavily affected by the pandemic, but you'd assume running a ”quarantine-hotel” would bring in some kind of revenue to at least clean the rooms properly. In comparison to other quarantine hotels, this is cheaper than most. Still would argue the bare minimum of cleanliness is expected regardless of how cheap it is.

He is highly professional, sensitive and meticulous in his job. One day I wanted to light candle to GOD. I didn't have a matchbox. He gave me a lighter. I didn't know how to use it. Disappointed with the check in process. I arrived at 15:25, but the room was not yet available. even though the check-in time should be 14:00. no apologies and also very ignorant. I was left standing in front of the check-in counter until I was asked if I should stand here waiting for a room to become available? Apart from towels, amenities in the toilet are only available for one person, while bookings are for 2 people. Room is ok, clean and neat.

Service was top-notch! From concierge to housekeeping, every service point was exceptional! Commendable mention goes to Arsyad from Front Desk who assisted us at every turn... From helping us sort out an area to meet our Local team to helping us with our odd requests... He did it all with a smile and made us feel welcome and safe with his warm personality... The 17th floor Housekeeping from May 28 to June 2nd was also incredibly attentive... My room was always how I wanted it without my need to inform them... Property itself is clean, well-maintained, and they were careful with the sanitising as we exit the pandemic... Unfortunately it misses on 5 star as there was no room service available for when we were hungry and weren't wanting to Grab food... Otherwise it is truly hard to fault this property... Keep up the 5* service!

Stay for second time, got the same room and the best view to semanggi area. This hotel location is superb as you can find so much variety food in the mall. The breakfast at this hotel also good and the pastry is superb. But at this time, the water flow and temperature in the bathroom not stable. Some time the water is very2 hot. The enginering come to fix it, but it doesnt work. So have to be careful when take a bath in a shower.

I visited Mercure Sabang with my 4 years old and my mother of 84 years old. Both of them were very happy, my son loved the kids activity on Sunday morning, my mother enjoyed the breakfast and become gourmand (at home she doesn't eat much anymore). It was maybe a combination of good food, perfect lighting and friendly ambiance in the resto. Me and my son love the pool, it was in the perfect depth (1.3m), not too deep but not too shallow either. The room was spacious, we took the type of privilege room, the bed and pillows was super comforting, and everything was so clean. One advise, if you are a non smoker, request non-smoking room and floor immediately, We checked in a bit late so the 1st night I need to chose between having a king size bed in a smoking floor/room or twin bed in the non-smoking one. I was then chose the twin bed and move to other room with king size bed in non smoking floor, because the smell of cigarettes in the smoking room-floor was so strong. It is a good thing for the smokers I think, because not many hotels have a smoking room nowadays. So overall i would say that Mercure Sabang is 10/10. Will surely revisit.

It was an amazing and wonderful experiencing staying in this hotel. When I arrived in Jakarta from Malaysia on 4th May, the hotel frontliners greeted us warmly. What I really enjoy was their food and prices are super reasonable. I dont know how to describe, but the food was super delicious. I really hope the hotel can maintain it. All business-men who needs to iron their shirt can skip this hotel. -Noisy air-condition. -40rp for the breakfast, worst breakfast I ever seen, not much to choose from, see my pictures. -Bad schampoo and soap. -Bad sound isolation, hear people and noise from the hall and outside. -My friends got a room that smelled smoke, luckily our room wasn't smelly. +/- 100rp in deposit in cash during check-in. 30min drive from the airport to the hotel, cost around 180rp with Grab. I wouln't stay here again.

Outstanding and beautiful hotel - well organized and attentive staff. Easily comparable to top end hotels I have stayed at in Dubai and elsewhere. Food is excellent - room service is prompt and offers a wide choice from all available restaurants. Indonesia Plaza next door was hugely helpful and convenient.

Stayed 2N in a 1BR (Rm # 2201) - the worse accommodation I've encountered in Jakarta where reputable hotel chains I've stayed before are always clean and pleasant. The stay looked unpromising upon getting the key cards in a very well used and yellowish looking jacket (ok, forgivable if is a sustainability effort in a post covid world and in a property where hygiene and decent upkeeping is obviously of lower priority perhaps?) Things started going downhill after I stepped out of the lift to be welcomed by the mouldy patch and peeling paint on the common corridor walls and ceilings. More to dislikes upon stepping into the room: - First impression is that it hasn't been in used for a while with blast from 80s decor - Strand of hairs on the sink top, bed, desks... everywhere in plain sight - Very used and dumpy looking sofa that doesn't felt too clean - Bedsheet isn't too clean with prominent old stain when you flip over the quilt - Old and dirty looking dryer with few packets of partially used washing powder - Yellowish looking switches with dirt and grime collecting around the corners - Standing shower isn't working as is leaking at the back with weak pressure - Balls of dust and peeling paint could be seen everywhere in the room - Wall and ceiling paints were peeling off here and there - Rain water could seep through the living room window causing the floor around the window to be wet - Final straw was the dirty and smelly fridge causing the lapis legit I bought from nearby Mandarin Oriental to reek of a terrible and unwholesome freezer stench Horrible, not recommended and a total rip off at S$250++ per night!

It was an amazing and wonderful experiencing staying in this hotel. When I arrived in Jakarta from Malaysia on 4th May, the hotel frontliners greeted us warmly. What I really enjoy was their food and prices are super reasonable. I dont know how to describe, but the food was super delicious. I really hope the hotel can maintain it. If anyone want to travel to Jakarta, I highly recommend to enjoy this stay. everything is good, just a bit mosquitoes around the lobby, this can be done. I will visit this hotel again.

I visited Mercure Sabang with my 4 years old and my mother of 84 years old. Both of them were very happy, my son loved the kids activity on Sunday morning, my mother enjoyed the breakfast and become gourmand (at home she doesn't eat much anymore). It was maybe a combination of good food, perfect lighting and friendly ambiance in the resto. Me and my son love the pool, it was in the perfect depth (1.3m), not too deep but not too shallow either. The room was spacious, we took the type of privilege room, the bed and pillows was super comforting, and everything was so clean. One advise, if you are a non smoker, request non-smoking room and floor immediately, We checked in a bit late so the 1st night I need to chose between having a king size bed in a smoking floor/room or twin bed in the non-smoking one. I was then chose the twin bed and move to other room with king size bed in non smoking floor, because the smell of cigarettes in the smoking room-floor was so strong. It is a good thing for the smokers I think, because not many hotels have a smoking room nowadays. So overall i would say that Mercure Sabang is 10/10. Will surely revisit.

Overall is nice hotel from the location closed to central Jakarta and Monas monument and surrounding is easy to find food. The only shower in the bathroom had a low water pressure.

Not suitable for business travelers due to the poor internet, which won't reliably allow a page to load. I ended up tethering my phone. However for $30 a night the hotel is a bargain and would be my goto value Jakarta hotel if they could sort the internet out. Note that the desk had an ethernet port with a phenomenal dl speed of 40-50mbs, but upload was only 0.01 which made it unusable. At night the noise from a nearby nightclub was loud. Room had a safe and a fridge. Bed was king sized.

Its a pod. Ideal for solo. There are many workers when I arrived cleaning (quietly, discreetly and professionally), cleaning the toilets, showers, pods etc.... So the its super clean and fresh. I also had to get to Gambir Station to catcg a train. Tried hailling a transport from the roadside was quoted a higher tourist price. Got back to Bobobox, received help from Denny and Joe, who so kindly help called and arranged a transport for me at a fair price at peak hour 5:30pm. Joe, the Bobobox staff even accompanied me down to the street and waited for the transport to arrive and instructed the driver my destination and that I am going to take a train and needs to arrived at a specified time.
