Hotels in South Railway Station/Tianfu Cade mall, Chengdu

The front desk staff, Xiao Lin, was excellent. The hotel's environment is great, and the room is large and clean. The surrounding shops offer good value for money, which is a plus. What's even better is that the hotel is very close to the South Railway Station; it's just a few minutes' walk away, so there's no need for a taxi. I could just walk there myself.

The facilities are quite complete and the stay is quite comfortable. The sanitation is very meticulous and the corners are polished to a shine. The bedding is even more comfortable, which is absolutely perfect for people with insomnia. The surrounding environment is good and the hotel environment is also very good. It is relatively quiet. The front desk service is friendly. I still recommend it.

Due to a last-minute flight change, I had to stay overnight in Chengdu. After looking around, this hotel was the best choice. It's right next to Chengdu South Railway Station, and literally across the street from Metro Line 18's exit, which is incredibly convenient. Getting to and from the airport was a breeze, and it's not far to get into the city center either. Although the hotel isn't brand new, it's very clean and well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. It really is an excellent choice.

Very satisfied with my stay, the room was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to get a taxi to the city center, and ordering food delivery was also convenient. They even provided some complimentary fruit. Having two large mirrors and two sinks was a great touch, making it very comfortable. I'd definitely come back again.

The location is unbeatable, right at Exit H5 of the South Railway Station subway, just a 50-meter walk directly to the hotel entrance. It was incredibly convenient with luggage and a baby. The lobby is grand and stylish, and the security guards at the door and front desk staff were all very warm and friendly. Check-in was fast, no long queues needed. The guest rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing abundant natural light, and the space is generous, so our whole family felt comfortable and not cramped. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. With a baby, I'm very particular about cleanliness, and I meticulously checked the bedding and bathroom corners – everything was spotless. Staying here was so comfortable! There's plenty of parking, and it's pet-friendly. Downstairs, there are lots of grassy areas perfect for walking your dog. The environment is very quiet, and security guards will even deliver your food orders upstairs. It only takes about ten minutes to get anywhere. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu.

Extremely close to the South Railway Station, you can even see the station from the room window. The service was very warm and the room was clean and tidy. Downstairs, there's a mall and a supermarket, and the room having a mini-fridge is perfect for summer trips! Next time if I have enough time, I'll definitely try out the free laundry service.

I booked an 'internal window' room, which was a very strange experience. While the front desk did mention it when I checked in, I didn't quite grasp what that meant at the time. After checking in, I was truly shocked – an 'internal window' essentially means no window at all! I have no idea why they designed it with this bizarre, sci-fi-movie-observatory-like 'lightwell' in the middle. Sometimes I felt like I was starring in an episode of Black Mirror. Adding to the strangeness, the secret door to this room's lightwell is located in the hallway. I personally checked, and you can open it just by pressing it, no key needed. So, if you stay here, remember to keep your 'window' (whether it's there or not, it makes no difference) securely closed at night, otherwise, it feels incredibly unsafe. You really don't want to be tossing and turning, imagining someone walking through a hidden hallway door into the lightwell and peering at you while you sleep, right? The room itself was clean, but because there was no actual window, it inevitably had that stuffy, damp smell that comes from a long-sealed space. Overall, the design of this room is just inexplicable. For those who are sensitive to such things, please be sure to avoid what they call an 'internal window room'.
