"Show Low is beautiful and we went to check on a 5th wheel trailer we purchased last summer to see how it was holding up during this cold winter. There are a lot of motels in Show Low but we took a chance on this Days Inn for our 3 day stay and very happy we did. The rooms were small but neat and clean. Not a 5 star but very efficient and we could not hear our neighbors. The best part is that the family that runs the motel also has the Show Low Cafe on site and this is where we got our free breakfast. The decor is Americana, and they love the military and veterans. The food was home style and very good. If we need to go in winter to check on our trailer again, this is the place we will stay. Super friendly and accommodating staff too. "

The Sunrise Park Ski area, Arizona's largest, is an easy 46 mile drive from the condo. Besides skiing, mountain biking is available at the ski area or just take off from the condo on the network of dirt roads into the wilderness just about a block ride from the condo on Joe Tank Road.
Shopping is a convenient drive into town with the Safeway only 2.5 miles away. Show Low offers many quaint small businesses to shop as well as major shopping like Walmart. You should be able to find just about anything you need.
Need to eat out? No problem! There are numerous restaurants close by. Such as the Torreon country club or Buffalo Bills Tavern and museum. There are several local Mexican food restaurants nearby as well. Enjoy happy hour deals at Los Corrales Mexican restaurant. The food is generous, reasonable and quite tasty! Breathe the fresh mountain air while enjoying your morning coffee or do some remote work on the extended gated patio deck. Four steps down to fenced backyard. Chilly day? Flip the switch to turn on the river rock gas fireplace. Central heat and air conditioning will keep you comfortable, no matter the temp!
NOTE: access is only by stair, requiring four steps up to the front entry.
Our bear-themed cabin is very clean, with NEW Hickory flooring throughout. Fully stocked kitchen (bring your own food), 2 bedrooms with pillow top mattresses on the queen beds, new full-size washer & dryer, DVD/Blu-ray player (nearby Redbox rental kiosks at Safeway & CVS, or bring your own!), WFM-friendly WIFI, propane BBQ on the deck, selection of board games. Parking in driveway for 2 cars.

• Show Low Lake: Our personal favorite! Noted for the best Walleye fishing in Arizona. It has yielded the last FIVE state records, including the existing state record of 16 pounds, 2 ounces!
• Community Park: short walk, with swings, a picnic area, and horseshoe pits
• Show Low City Park: 3 miles. Tennis Courts, Frisbee Golf, Playground, Picnic Areas, Walking & Biking Trails, Aquatic Center, Basketball Court, Racquetball Court, Volleyball Court, Shuffle Board, Pickle-ball. Seniors: drop in Softball games for those 50+! They have gloves & bats to use (May-October, Mondays & Thursdays 8am – 11am)

Our bear-themed cabin is very clean, with NEW Hickory flooring throughout. Fully stocked kitchen (bring your own food), 2 bedrooms with pillow top mattresses on the queen beds, new full-size washer & dryer, DVD/Blu-ray player (nearby Redbox rental kiosks at Safeway & CVS, or bring your own!), WFM-friendly WIFI, propane BBQ on the deck, selection of board games. Parking in driveway for 2 cars.
We have a FULL TIME caretaker, in case you need assistance (available via phone, number posted in cabin).

• Sitgreaves National Forest: Bison Ridge adjoins it for easy access to numerous trails for hiking and biking. ATV’s are permitted in the neighborhood (please obey signs). Licensed Riders Only.
• Fool Hollow Lake: ~1 mile. Year round fishing, hiking, swimming, picnic areas, 4 playgrounds, boat rentals
• Show Low Lake: Our personal favorite! Noted for the best Walleye fishing in Arizona. It has yielded the last FIVE state records, including the existing state record of 16 pounds, 2 ounces!
• Community Park: short walk, with swings, a picnic area, and horseshoe pits
• Show Low City Park: 3 miles. Tennis Courts, Frisbee Golf, Playground, Picnic Areas, Walking & Biking Trails, Aquatic Center, Basketball Court, Racquetball Court, Volleyball Court, Shuffle Board, Pickle-ball. Seniors: drop in Softball games for those 50+! They have gloves & bats to use (May-October, Mondays & Thursdays 8am – 11am)
• Hon-Dah Casino: 25 minute drive. Nearly 900 slot machines, Bingo, Keno, Blackjack, Poker. Live Entertainment, Car Shows, etc.
