"Overall horrible experience. We booked a private room, and arrived to someone sleeping in one of our beds. It’s also a no drinking hostel which isn’t listed on their website or rules, having no idea until we got yelled at about it by the host. There’s also a random woman that sleeps outside the private balcony room on the couch that you share a bathroom and common space with, making it an extremely awkward and not so private space. Couldn’t recommend this stay less if you’re in Fairbanks."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fairbanks Airport ★★★

"it is a good place to stay; it is very convenient, near the airport, a 3-5 minutes drive away, some tourist attraction like Pioneer park, pikes ice bridge, and Fred Meyer. the hotel is very clean, they have free coffee at the front. but there is no housekeeping. they didn't clean our room for 3 days, so i assumed they didn't have a housekeeping daily. the staff was very friendly, except for the lady with the blue/red highlights on her hair; she was mean to my daughter."

"I stayed here for three nights as a solo traveller, and it was a very comfortable stay. The manager was very friendly and I was able to relax very comfortably. Although it's a little far from the city, I highly recommend it for those who want to keep costs down and who want to meet this lovely lady."
