Edgewater Inn and Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection ★★★
"They have a lot of renovations going on but our room was quiet, big, clean and comfortable. It had a microwave, mini fridge and big smart TV. We enjoyed the rain shower and nice thick towels. Staff were all friendly. 24 hour coffee and tea bar was great. I liked that it so close to Safeway grocery where we bought some hot food for dinner and breakfast. Will book here again if we go to Coos Bay on the future."

Bandon Inn ★★★
"The sea view is nice, but the tide recedes during check-in and check-out, exposing the smooth riverbed. It's convenient to eat by the sea and visit the "Human-Shaped Rock" attraction. However, note that there's no elevator, breakfast is pre-ordered, and only cold dishes are available. The bathroom lacked anti-slip mats; I almost slipped and fell, a close call. Interestingly, most of the pillows are square, which made for a comfortable sleep."

Sunset Oceanfront Lodging ★★
"Location is amazing, which is the biggest draw for me. Cleanliness is downgraded simply because some rooms are showing their age and needs to be renovated. I did not try it, but they have a very inviting hot indoor pool as well!"

Motel 6 Coos Bay, or ★★
"The girl at the front desk was very nice and helped us heat up our food and provide hot water! But the room was really not that good. There was an unpleasant smell. I suspected there was a smell left by pets before. There is no microwave, coffee machine or hair dryer, but the price is cheap."

Quality Inn & Suites at Coos Bay ★★
"We regularly stay at this hotel when we are in town. It’s clean and convenient. We also appreciate the included breakfast. It’s well located and easy to get right in. The room we stayed in on this visit was recently redone, too."

Captain John's Motel ★★
"We booked a room that had 2 bedrooms which was amazing. It felt like staying in an airbnb but was a little more wallet friendly. The suite smelled strongly of cleaner and the floors seemed to be permanently sticky from it. Location wise, it eemed a little sketchy at first, but its close to docks so that could be expected. Definitely not somewhere I would bring little kids."
