"We stayed in Cabin 3 for a week, and for well over $300 per night, the condition, cleanliness, privacy, and safety were unacceptable. The cabin was extremely dirty, with thick visible dust on shelves. A few light fixtures and an outlet did not work, and the toilet paper holder had been ripped off the wall. For this price, basic cleaning and maintenance should not be an issue. Even worse, Cabin 3 is not nearly as secluded as it appears. The basement underneath the cabin is used by staff for storage and operations, so throughout the week people regularly drove up, backed vehicles toward the cabin, and went in and out below us sometimes two or three times a day. We saw maintenance personnel, newspaper delivery, and others coming and going. That is not what I would consider a private or secluded cabin experience, and it should be made clear before booking. We also stored our bicycle rack near where our vehicles were parked, and the maintenance worker asked us twice whether it was trash. Being asked repeatedly about an obviously usable bicycle rack made us uncomfortable about leaving our belongings there. The most serious issue was the shower. It was extremely slippery, had no grab bars or rails, and offered virtually nothing to hold onto safely. My dad nearly slipped and fell a couple of times during the week. Thankfully, he was not hurt, but the lack of basic safety features was alarming. For $300+ per night, Cabin 3 should be clean, properly maintained, safe, and genuinely private. Instead, we dealt with dirt, broken fixtures, repeated staff traffic around and underneath the cabin, and a shower that felt unsafe to use. I would not recommend Cabin 3 in its current condition. At this price point, the experience was abysmal."
