"Advantages: After looking around, this is probably the best-located guesthouse in terms of scale, environment, facilities, and resort vibes of Wanwei Golden Beach. The price increase during the Spring Festival was acceptable. The staff were very friendly, the parking lot was sufficient, there were several charging stations, and a laundry room with dryers – all very practical. The beach is right outside, though not in the center of the beach, making the beach cleaner. Being further west, it's less crowded, even during the Spring Festival, making beachcombing very comfortable and convenient. There were tons of golden shrimp, snails, hermit crabs, and mini sand crabs. Summer might be even better, with three swimming pools for swimming. Breakfast was supposedly complimentary, including eggs, porridge, soy milk, noodles, and fried noodles – enough to fill you up if you're not too picky. The seafood we had cooked at the hotel on New Year's Eve tasted significantly better than what we had outside the day before, even though the price was similar. Disadvantages: The room facilities and furniture were of average quality, the interior was rather basic, and didn't match the perceived luxury of the exterior. Also, the sofa could be cleaned better. Overall, staying at Wanwei Golden Beach is the best choice, and I highly recommend it."

The price was very reasonable, making it a perfect place for working professionals like us to relax during our vacation. We could even go beachcombing right outside the door and caught a lot of golden prawns! The room was very clean, and there was even a small courtyard on the first floor. The seafood we cooked there was delicious, and the charging stations were very convenient. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and it's definitely worth recommending. I'll definitely stay here again!"

The cleanliness at Lanhai Yijing is truly impeccable; there isn't a speck of dust in the room, and the bathroom glass shines brightly. The service is also excellent; the front desk staff even helped us with our luggage. The hotel's environment is very quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the facilities are comprehensive, including free beach chairs. It's truly perfect for a family vacation!"

The top terrace has a great view, and the sunset is spilled on the river in the evening, and the light and shadow atmosphere is directly full. The courtyard is full of green plants, and there are small details arranged with care. It is quiet and comfortable. It is very suitable for slow down vacation and enjoy a leisure time in the border city. ✨"

"The owner was very welcoming, providing transportation. The house had a unique exterior that the kids loved. The bed was on the second floor, a very distinctive design. There was a swimming pool in the yard, perfect for taking photos, and the kids had a great time. It's a bit far from Jintan Beach, but thankfully the owner's convenient transportation was a great help."

"The hotel should have been renovated in 2023. The furniture is new and the facilities are good. This is probably the best hotel you can find in Dongxing. There are about ten single-family villas in total, facing the mountains and streams. It is very comfortable to get up in the morning. The key is that the price is not expensive even on the National Day, which is rare. It's not far from Dongxing city, about twenty minutes' drive. Just look at the room map for photos, that's fine. The only small problem is that it comes with a gas tank for the kitchen stove, but not a pot haha."

"Room: The room was more spacious than I expected, with modern and cozy decor, and it was very clean and tidy. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, ample hot water, and good quality toiletries. Facilities: I tried out the hotel's gym and pool (or breakfast, depending on what facilities you used), and they were all well-maintained. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, which was very convenient for work. Summary: Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this city!"
Dongxing Great World Hotel
"Overall, we were very dissatisfied. We booked three rooms, and two of them had no hot water (we were furious and told the owner, who said it was a touchscreen and I just had to press a button, but it didn't work). The air conditioning didn't heat up; even at 32 degrees Celsius, there was no heat. The place was incredibly dirty and messy, with exposed lights and pipes. There was even a valve on the floor! If it were just a hotel, I wouldn't have any complaints, but it's called a hotel. They charged 30 yuan a day for the shared kitchen, which was completely unregulated. The kitchen drain was clogged. The kitchen issues are minor, but the biggest problem was the accommodation itself. The doors required keys, and you needed a key to lock the doors from the inside as well. This was the worst accommodation we had during our Spring Festival trip. We strongly advise against staying here; our whole family unanimously decided to give it a bad review."

"Not bad. The two ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The beach is just a short walk away, so there's no need to specifically go to the Golden Beach area with its rocky shore. You can play in the water at high tide and on the sand at low tide. If I had to recommend only one beach in Fangchenggang, Golden Beach would be my top choice. In the early morning, you can chase the sunrise along the coastal road, and in the evening, you can stargaze on the fine sand. It's very relaxing if you bring kids. There's also a self-service laundry room on the first floor, which is very convenient."
