"The so-called most expensive guesthouse in Wanwei Golden Beach was a truly terrible experience. We booked two rooms on the first floor, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. The online description and pictures of the twin room didn't explicitly state that it faced the road. However, upon arrival, we found ourselves directly facing a food stall, where late at night, cars drove by and people played drinking games, making it impossible for the elderly and children to sleep. We requested an upgrade upon check-in, but were told the room was fully booked and upgrades were not possible. At 9 AM, we saw other twin rooms of the same type available, with balconies facing the guesthouse interior, completely empty. The double room was right next to a storage room, with a trash can right outside the door. Not only were there many mosquitoes, but the room was also teeming with sewer gnats (if you don't know what they are, look them up yourself—they're disgusting). Breakfast ended at 9:30 AM, and by 9:15 AM there was nothing left; waiting for a refill took half an hour. There were even dead mosquitoes in the porridge, and no one replaced it. The exterior looked artistic and photogenic, but the interior had too many flaws. Given this situation, the room was fully booked; they probably don't need repeat customers."

The sand of Wanwei Golden Beach is very fine. When buying seafood, I recommend going to the Wanwei Farmers Market. It is big and easy to park. recommend"

"This was the only place that existed on this trip, which was a bit of a lucky break. I was hesitant to book it because of its low ratings, but my child wanted to play in the water, so I decided to take a chance. We arrived around 2 PM and were given a room on the edge of the room. The room next to the toilet smelled terrible. Once inside, I realized how tiny it really was. There was no place to put my luggage, and it was so small that it was difficult to even turn around. Stepping on the floor felt like I was going to fall off. It was just a prefab house with old facilities. It was practically a zero-cost investment, and it definitely wasn't worth the price."

The seafood we cooked there was delicious, and the charging stations were very convenient. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and it's definitely worth recommending. The location of this Home Inn is incredibly convenient, less than a 10-minute walk to the port, and super easy to get to the China-Vietnam Friendship Park and pedestrian street. There are plenty of snack shops and a supermarket in the lobby nearby. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and quick to check me in; they even proactively recommended must-try local foods. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The hot water was consistently strong and the pressure was good. The best part was the free self-service laundry room – my dirty clothes from a long day of shopping were washed and dried instantly, ready to wear the next day! So convenient for travelers! Excellent value for money; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dongxing."
