"Amazing spot! Right in the hub of all the life in Durango! Great parking. The hotel itself was part of the visits fun. We walked around one night looking for something to do, but around 8PM things tend to close down in Durango but it turns out the hotel had to fun we were looking for. We walked back to the hotel and heard lively ragtime piano music coming from the hotels connected saloon. We walked in, found a chair, and cheered along with the rest of the crowd enjoying the music and stories of Adam Swanson."

The Junction Hotel and Hostel ★★

"I called ahead to say that we were gonna be late coming in and they said that the front desk would be open till 11. We got there at 10 o’clock and couldn’t find anybody in the office and couldn’t get to our room we had to stay at La Quinta and pay $305as an emergency could not reach anybody to respond to us for checking in."

"The hotel is conveniently located on US Highway 160, a little outside the town center; quite quiet, but surrounded by rather unspectacular mountains. The Sleep Inn is in a complex it apparently shares with the "Mainstay" brand. Check-in was quick and very friendly. The room was up to the usual Sleep Inn standard: modernly furnished, everything very clean. The breakfast room was very quiet at 7 a.m., and the buffet offered the usual standard fare of scrambled eggs and sausages, toast, and waffles. Not really good."
