We booked a family room (two bedrooms) on Ctrip. The pricing was: one King Room with a view for 799 RMB + 200 RMB for the weekend = 999 RMB. We arrived around 2 PM, and the front desk informed us the room wasn't ready yet, estimating about an hour's wait. So, we took the kids to play by the pool. While the kids were playing, a staff member dressed as a 'clown' 🤡 was cleaning mats with foam. My friend handed slippers to a child, slipped, and ended up with a badly bruised knee. The staff member offered no apology whatsoever, and even had the audacity to say my friend shouldn't have walked that way. Excuse me, but the other side is the pool – where else were we supposed to walk? Should we have jumped in and swum across?? Considering we were all there to enjoy ourselves, my friend, despite the severe pain, decided not to make a fuss. After about an hour, they called to say the room was ready, and we quickly checked in. One of the bedrooms in the family room was incredibly small – just wide enough for a standard suitcase; forget about opening it up.
