"We honestly can't say enough positive things about this incredible place! There truly is no better location to go while visiting the area. For 4 years in a row our event business, IndyHoodRats (IHR), has done a road rally to the area, and the 3 of them that involved Tapoco Tavern & Lodge has been our FAVORITES! Every time has been top-notch! It's basically a magical place that once there, you don't want to ever leave. Several of our customers have come back to bring their own families for annual vacations because they fell in love with the place instantly. The staff there (especially Sherry and Erik!) have been stellar in every way, accommodating every request possible, going above and beyond to make our entire group feel welcomed (and like family!), we've never had a complaint about any of them! Sherry has been a blessing to work with! She's always kind, considerate, professional, honest, hard-working, with integrity that is inspiring. Tapoco would never be the same without her! As a fellow event coordinator, she is someone we look up to! Her ability to pivot in situations that pop-up, her ability to work under pressure, and her optimism is inspiring! Erik has been a true joy to be around and work with. His kindness is like a beacon of light that draws you in. He's extremely good at what he does with marketing, photo, video, and especially his history chats! His knowledge is captivating. His smile radiates and is infectious. Our customers thoroughly enjoyed his history chats! This place has set the precedent for what a vacation should be. The scenery is like straight out of a Hallmark movie and is gorgeous year-round!
