"I have been in this hotel 10 years old. It was excellent then, it is excellent now. Everything is prefect. We have such a good time here."

Kailani Suite at Hana Kai Resort ★★

"If a generous friend gave you the keys to their beach condo for the weekend and Hana Kai was the result, you would be thrilled with what you found. Yes, the complex is a bit noisy. Yes, things are worn. And yes, there is some deferred maintenance. But there is a LOT to love about Hana Kai. The location, the breezes, the sunrises .... Since few of us have said friend and instead we are paying 500+ per night rental fee, the rating loses a star and I understand why some may even deduct two. Admittedly, there are not a lot of options in Hana so how much all the nuisance items bother you is kind of personal. If you choose Hana Kai, do have your expectations more at the level of a well-worn friend's condo in a glorious location."
