Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel

We stayed here for about 11 nights and it didn’t disappoint us, what a beautiful hotel, I just wish the staff was more gentle and understanding when we told them That our bank cards were blocked and we were trying to solve with our bank, they acted like we are trying to steal and run, we felt so low, they watched each and everyone of our step😣 but apart from this hotel is amazing 🤩

The premises are unsanitary with small insects present, and the front desk staff members are unprofessional and discourteous.

My recent stay at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel was highly unsatisfactory and fell far short of expected hotel standards. Several issues related to service, room quality, and cleanliness made for a very poor experience. - The staff service upon arrival was immediately disappointing. Arriving late (around 10 PM), the concierge stationed at the outdoor booth stared at us while the taxi driver helped unload our luggage. I had to specifically ask for assistance before he finally stepped in to help. This complete lack of initiative and basic courtesy was a terrible first impression. - Serious Cleanliness and Maintenance Concerns: the most critical issues revolved around the state and cleanliness of the room. The moment I stepped into the washroom while wearing my slippers, I heard a distinct sticky sound. This strongly suggests that the washroom floor was either super dirty or the room carpet was improperly maintained. I was so concerned about the hygiene that I had to place used bath towels on the floor to avoid direct contact. The overall room furniture was old and outdated. Furthermore, the room itself was not clean, contributing significantly to my discomfort. - The room setup felt haphazard and unprofessional: the room appeared to be furnished with random items. For instance, my study desk chair was a restaurant-style chair. I've booked two rooms, I noted that basic amenities like the cups inside the rooms were different, implying a lack of consistent setting standard across the hotel. - I requested three additional shower towels but was only provided two. When I queried this, the staff member stated they "couldn't find an additional one," which is an unacceptable response for a hotel of this caliber. Some positive notes: on the day of departure (around 12 noon), the staff were helpful in moving our luggage from the hotel room down to the lobby. As I provided feedback to the mismatch study desk chair, the staff helped us to change to the standard one. Overall, I will not recommend Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel. The critical failures in cleanliness, the outdated room condition, and the overall lack of professional service initiative made this a deeply negative stay.

Good location, nearby the beach, good for vacation and chill out. Hotel even got shuttle to Kowloon main district. Nice service and good environment
