Very Good
MMonica_ChiWe had a pleasant one-night stay at Royal Plaza Hotel as a family. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-located, making it a convenient base for our short trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the high-quality amenities. The beds were comfortable, providing a relaxing environment for us to rest.
The location is excellent, being directly connected to the MOKO shopping mall, which offered easy access to shopping and dining. The hotel’s proximity to public transport also made it easy to get around Hong Kong.
However, one downside was the noisy air conditioning in our room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably at times. The noise was a bit distracting, which took away from an otherwise pleasant stay.
Additionally, while the hotel offers a lot of great features, we did feel it might not be the most kid-friendly option, as there weren’t many child-focused amenities or activities.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and Royal Plaza Hotel is a solid choice for a family looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel. Just be aware of the aircon noise and consider other options if you're traveling with younger children.
JJonathanThe Mongkok Holiday Inn Express is a short walk down Dundas Street from the Yau Ma Tei metro -- f you have heavy suitcases, you are better off getting a taxi from the Kowloon Airport Express station. I moved here because the prices at the Golden Mile Holiday Inn were climbing through the roof over Christmas, and the Mongkok Holiday Inn was almost half the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff, who looked after my luggage through several comings and goings, saving me almost another £100 on storage fees. Breakfast is a choice from a set menu rather than a buffet, but it was nice enough. I'll definitely stay here again.... in fact, I will stay here again the day after tomorrow!
GGuest UserGreat stay at Regala Skycity!! Staff are super helpful and friendly :) despite the large night crowd checking in, the staffs are handling every customer professionally. Breakfast is decent, water dispensers located outside the room, thus very convenient. Shuttle bus to and from airport (pillar 11-14) and Tung Chung station is a plus point! Room is clean, cozy and safe for solo travellers👍🏻 highly recommended, and thank you!
KKevin Patrick JulienClean and location is near mtr and restaurants. Room a bit too small.
A bit noisy, sounds like staying at airport. Perhaps flight path to airport without double glazed windows at higher floors.
TTaurus20I was surprised because wasn't expecting we will stay in a suite room 😃it' very nice and spacious..you could still see a bit part of harbour view.. it was a great experience and looking forward for another stay soon..highly recommended 😃😊
CCasey BernandoPros: a very nice, beautiful and clean room. It’s like staying in a condominium. I genuinely liked the room and will come back to stay here again one day.
The free shuttle is very helpful as well to send us to the nearest MTR.
The lady who works as a security or street controller was very sweet and helfpul. The views around the hotel are beautiful.
Cons: 2-3km away from the nearest mall and neighborhood. I had walked so far away and still not arriving 🤣
Literally there’s nothing around the hotel so you gotta buy things beforehand otherwise you’ll be starving and thirsty!
The hotel doesn’t provide drinking water which is crazy 😭 or maybe this is common in HK? Coming from Thailand, we are treated with full service and when we want something, they will give us immediately but here is different 😔
I just didnt like the fact that we had to buy drinking water cause this is a 4* hotel. At least provide a water dispenser on each floor.
GGuest UserGreat location, great price for a bed and shower for the night. Staff were very nice and helpful. Nice rooftop for a coffee in the morning. No frills accommodation. Just what you need for a pleasant overnight.
JJaneth Penilla101percent very clean I like the room very simple but nice ..also the view very nice can see the view of city ❤️ but hope nextime have a personal kit for body hygiene 🪥🪥🪥🪥 but all is very nice 💯
RRichardLocation is next to beach, vicinity is peaceful .
The amenities and fixtures were basic considering it was a 3 star establishment.
A refurbished environment , still comfortable with friendly staff.
堀堀On my most recent hotel stay, the overall experience was very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located close to major attractions for sightseeing and shopping. When checking in, the staff at the front desk were warm and friendly, completed the procedure quickly and efficiently, and made me feel right at home.
The interior of the room is spacious, the decoration is modern and comfortable, and the bed is extremely soft, allowing me to enjoy a good sleep every night. The bathroom is well-equipped, clean and tidy, and the shower has strong water flow, making me feel relaxed every time I take a shower.
The hotel's restaurant provides a variety of cuisine, and the breakfast variety is very rich. Whether it is Western breakfast or Asian style, it can meet the needs of different tastes. In addition, the hotel also has a gym and swimming pool, which allows me to stay active during my busy schedule.
Overall, the hotel I stayed at this time exceeded my expectations. Both the service and facilities were excellent. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and look forward to visiting again next time.
