"Excellent location close to the square and the Menin Gate. Lovely room, although layout a little strange with sink in the room and separate wc and shower. Shower wasn't as clean as we would have liked and leaked out into the room, so perhaps the design needs addressing. Really comfortable bed and complimentary water was appreciated. Bar closed at 10.30pm."

"Friendly staff, fantastic included breakfast! Plenty of parking. Never figured out how to use the A/C, so room was a little warm. Ventilation wasn't great, so room was very humid, but could have opened window to resolve if we'd thought of it earlier. We'd definitely stay here again!"

Administration spot on, Excellent food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and everything served on time. An important factor for a touring group. Excellent value for money too!! The location in Ypres Main Square is just perfect, especially for a History Group. Would cheerfully recommend this hotel anytime based on our experience. "

"Benoit, the owner, and chairman of the Last Post Association, is a fantastic host. There are various options with the house. We stayed in the larger house and had the whole house, sleeping up to 8 (3 doubles and a twin). It is nicely decorated and there is a small terrace out the back. The Menin Gate is just over the road. The coach parties drop off and park opposite but it wasn't too disturbing. Easy parking on the road and there are bars, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay."

"Nice place. Warm welcome and the rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Breakfast was nice, a good selection of continental foods and awesome pastries. It’s clean, friendly, charming and better than many 3 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Very short drive to Ypres as well. Recommended, will return."
