"Excellent location close to the square and the Menin Gate. Lovely room, although layout a little strange with sink in the room and separate wc and shower. Shower wasn't as clean as we would have liked and leaked out into the room, so perhaps the design needs addressing. Really comfortable bed and complimentary water was appreciated. Bar closed at 10.30pm."

"Benoit, the owner, and chairman of the Last Post Association, is a fantastic host. There are various options with the house. We stayed in the larger house and had the whole house, sleeping up to 8 (3 doubles and a twin). It is nicely decorated and there is a small terrace out the back. The Menin Gate is just over the road. The coach parties drop off and park opposite but it wasn't too disturbing. Easy parking on the road and there are bars, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay."

"These brand-new rooms are located on Boterstraat, a stone's throw from the Grote Markt. The Menin Gate is just over five minutes away, and you can park for free at Minneplein, which is a 450-meter walk away. We had the 'Family Father' room, which means you have to climb three steep flights of stairs and another flight of stairs to the upstairs bedroom. The rooms were clean and modern with coffee facilities. Power outlets are available next to the beds. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit on the thick side. And the space around the bed was a bit cramped. The friendly host sent a WhatsApp message on the day of arrival with the codes to get in, which worked perfectly. From the balcony, you have a view of the Cloth Hall and the cathedral. Unfortunately, breakfast is not available there, but there are plenty of options nearby. There was one hook in the bathroom; otherwise, there was nothing to put your clothes or belongings on."

"The hotel especially the room was spotless the breakfast was plentiful and hot a great start to the day all in all. a great stay for the money really well situated for the Menin Gate and the many restaurants and bars in this beautiful city definitely recommend I stayed in room 20 ideally situated next to the lift but really quiet for a good nights sleep many thanks to the owners and staff ."
