"We had a package that needed to be sent via express to another hotel in China. When the delivery needed a local number and someone to receive it, our hotel front desk attendant (Sally) helped us. She immediately took control of the situation and added the delivery company’s WeChat, talked to them on our behalf, paid on our behalf (personally, from her own WeChat! We did reimburse her after), and handled the calls and messages between our delivery company and our next hotel. Our package made it safely and was waiting for us when we got to the next hotel. This was a sentimental gift, and fairly expensive. We were relieved it was handled with utmost care!  Sally is a super star and the customer service at Kempinski hotel is above and beyond!"

"😄 Great Dining: The Jiangnan Zaocai restaurant is excellent. If you're coming from Shanghai, you can get a queue number in advance on the high-speed train. On a Saturday, when I got a number, there were 36 tables ahead, with an estimated wait of about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Executive Lounge restaurant offers good quality. Although the buffet dinner is small, it has everything you need, including drinks and a full set of DIY cocktail ingredients. Comparing Executive Lounge breakfast and the second-floor breakfast: The second-floor breakfast has more options but they are basic. The Executive Lounge breakfast has better views, fewer people, excellent service, and though fewer varieties, they are all premium quality. For example, for juice, the second floor only has fresh watermelon and dragon fruit juice, while the Executive Lounge offers fresh orange juice, pineapple juice, and more. 😄 Top-notch Service: Turn-down service is provided. The staff (auntie) was polite, friendly, and generous with bottled water. The Executive Lounge staff were courteous and thoughtful. My child liked the cookies and asked if we could buy some. Since we only wanted a small amount, they gave us two cups to take away directly. The lobby bar staff were also friendly and attentive. I would definitely return for the service alone. 😆 Excellent Location: It's a 15-minute walk to Xuanwu Lake and about a 5-minute walk to the subway station. Crucially, it's just one stop from Nanjing Railway Station, meaning it took only 15 minutes from stepping off the high-speed train to reaching the hotel lobby. It's also very convenient to get a taxi; the main road outside the hotel is never congested. 😄 Meticulous Cleanliness: I am very particular about hotel hygiene and pay attention to cleanliness in every corner. The hotel truly excels in this regard. 😄 Good Decoration: Although the decor is over 10 years old and shows clear signs of wear and tear, it still reflects the high-quality materials used during an economic boom period. 🤪 Average Amenities: The John Masters bath products were not great, and the body lotion was difficult to spread. Children's amenities are provided separately. 😁 Other Facilities: The lobby bar offers a buy-one-get-one-free cocktail deal, and there are foreigners singing English songs in the evening. The helipad on the top floor allows for sunrise viewing from 6-7 AM and sunset viewing from 5-6 PM."

"The room facilities are very good, very suitable for many friends to travel together, the environment is also very good, the air is very fresh. The hygiene is very good and the stay is very comfortable. The service is very attentive. The meals are very delicious and healthy. The private bath environment is also very good, and the bathing pool has enough space to sit three people. The B&B facilities are also very complete. You won't be bored playing in the B&B for a day. "Acceptable but not outstanding, especially from a service standpoint. Staff were mostly standoffish and very unwilling to discuss anything outside of the script. For example, I asked if it were possible to have a late check out (I wanted to check out at 3, the standard time is 2); the front desk told me that all check out time is 2pm and cannot be changed. Absolutely no attempt to check if the room was immediately required or if anything can be done, for a single hour difference…. Like I said, acceptable but not outstanding. We to the the bar on my first evening and was told I have to sit at the bar as I was on my own (white, male). The following two customers were also on their own, but female and Chinese, and they could sit wherever they wanted. Not quite sure why the difference in treatment."

"This hotel, although a little outside of the city centre, was perfect for a weekend getaway. The grounds were beautiful; the front desk staff was welcoming and responded promptly to our concerns and requests. The breakfast was good enough as well. We would definitely stay here again because the private hotspring was relaxing. We had a tranquil stay."

"After seeing the hotel for a long time, I finally chose this hotel-style apartment. The surrounding environment is very good. There is a bamboo forest downstairs. This apartment is very large in size and well equipped. It is very suitable for a family like us to come out to play. The group, the housekeeper is also very responsible, are responsive, Overall, I am very satisfied. If I want to say that the lack of it is that the toilet water in the master bedroom will splash my ass, and the corner hygiene needs to be strengthened, but this problem and advantage are no longer what it is."

"朋友推薦的地方，果然不錯！孩子特別喜歡這家的屋頂泳池，晚上和早上分別去了一次，水很乾凈，空氣清新，風景美。 別墅設施很完善，床品衞生無異味。附近有很多小店可以逛，也可以喝杯咖啡發發呆。八月了，還能在村子裏買到梔子花，很開心！ 要説不足之處，可能是軟件服務和早餐吧。早餐品種僅有鴨血粉絲湯，牛肉麪，米粥三個套餐可選，吃飽可以，吃好有點難。預訂房間是看到有歡迎禮遇的，但是直到離店也沒發現。也可能是忘了吧。 登記的時候，管家忘了歸還一張身份證，回家打了好多個電話，加發短訊，第二天順豐到付才收到。如果前台更專業點可能體驗感會更好吧。"

"A friend recommended a newly opened homestay, which is quite a treasure. I gritted my teeth and got a family suite, which should have the best view. There are two private baths, which are absolutely amazing, and the spring water from Pearl Spring is heated into the pool~ Facilities: High quality and good facilities, worth the price. The floor heating is very warm, and the children are very happy running around barefoot. The indoor hot spring bath is very interesting, like milk~ The minibar is quite rich, and there are freshly cut fruits~ The meals are also good, the chef's level 🉑 The breakfast must be praised, very attentive 👍🏻 Hygiene: Very clean, about the standard of a five-star hotel. Although it has just been opened, there is no smell. It is suitable for taking the kids to the bathroom! Environment: Quiet and secluded, inside the Pearl Spring Scenic Area, the environment is great. The design of the homestay is great. You can watch the sunset from the room, and the terrace faces the scenic spot of Silver Waterfall Fish Watching~ Service: Very satisfied! The staff are all warm and friendly, and the housekeeper baked sweet potatoes for the kids to eat, it was very happy 😄 I have stayed in many B&Bs, and I really recommend this one. Who knows the satisfaction of having a private hot spring in winter?"

"I was in Gaochun for business and wanted to find a B&B. After looking at many options, I discovered Guilaixi. My expectations were high just from seeing it on Trip.com, and after a 1.5-hour drive from the city, it certainly didn't disappoint. The misty rain combined with the vast bamboo forests truly met all my expectations. A special thanks to our housekeeper, Liu Shuzhen. She picked us up from the parking lot and immediately began introducing the entire estate. We were quite rushed upon check-in as we had a dinner banquet to attend, so we arranged to tour the estate the following day. On the second day, Liu Shuzhen drove us around in the 'Rolls-Royce sightseeing cart,' showing us and explaining the other room types, hot springs, banquet hall, entertainment room, and more. It was truly a delightful trip!"
