We spent a very enjoyable week at the Piz Buin. The staff are all amazing, very attentive and genuinely pleased to help. We asked for rooms away from The Niki Stadl, the Apres Ski Bar attached to the hotel which was accommodated without any real issues. Our rooms were located on the opposite side and were quiet and extremely comfy. Food at the hotel is very good, it's a pity they don't do the Austrian buffet more than once a week as I could have sampled all the proteins but there was way too much choice! Other than the Saturday night buffet there was always a 4 course menu, starter, soup, main and desert. You select your selection at breakfast for the same evening. They were more than happy to adjust the menu. Breakfast was the normal cold offerings, meat, cheese, yoghurts and pastries. The addition of a chef to prepare pancakes and eggs was a nice addition. The only slight issue we had was the ski locker room. It's just too small and poorly designed. There is a sensor operated door at the end of the corridor and the layout means that this door is almost always open allowing cold air to rush in. This means that your nice warm ski boots, fresh off the heater lose all the benefit as the only place to change is in the arctic corridor! We had a great week!
