"The room was clean & quiet & comfortable. The breakfasts were reasonable but I wish there were more dairy-free options: coconut or almond milk for cereals, eggs without cheese. I especially appreciate the eco-friendly room service, where you can choose what gets laundered when, in addition to the refillable products available in dispensers instead of the waste of a bunch of little plastic bottles in the bathroom. I appreciated that housekeeping staff were off for Christmas Day: it showed care for the staff to give them important family time off."

"This was the perfect "home base" base from which to explore the lakes and historic sites of the region. The room and hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxed stay, including mini-fridge and microwave. We are pretty self-sufficient travelers. The fact that there was a grocery store and a bank next door to this property was perfect. The rooms/property were clean ad the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, in an authentic way. Great value for the dollar. The hotel has ample parking space, so when we come back towing our boat, this is where we will stay. "
