"Hotel was a bit of a distance from the Keelung train station and we had to push our luggage there. The check-in time was 5pm and the staff was not flexible to let us check-in at 4pm even though we had waited two hours. Only when my hubby wanted to write an honest poor review then she relented. Other than this unpleasant incident, the other aspects were good. Bedroom and bathroom were big and clean, there were welcome drinks and a nice lounge for us to eat and drink."

There are no tea bags or bottled water, but there's a water dispenser in the hallway. The traffic noise from outside the window was a bit loud."

For those who can't handle it, it's probably not the place for them. But if you're okay with it, you'll have a good time. The staff are friendly and kind. The hotel itself is pretty run-down. There's no elevator, so you have to use steep stairs. The floors and various other parts are crooked. If you start looking for flaws, there's no end to them. But if you find that whole package interesting, then I think you're someone who can truly enjoy a trip. Unusually, there's a bathtub, but the fact that the water temperature doesn't always get hot depending on the time of day is just part of its charm. There's a coin laundry and convenience store nearby. In the evenings, there's a fish market and late-night stalls. You can choose how you want to enjoy each of these. If you can't stand the seedy atmosphere, then you shouldn't stay in Keelung. Just come to visit. I, personally, love this city."

The floor is a bit mottled and the leather of the massage chair is damaged The only good thing is the shower"
