"Lux Talay appears down the long driveway from Nadan beach road its design from the street front Blends & camouflages into the Jungle Canopy the staircase reminds me of a THAI Temple its suitably Grand & (disability or Aged persons ramp option) wherever you go within this property you will find they have thought of everything for you. They are calling it just a hotel but from my resort lifestyle (experience) I can confirm this is a super high quality resort experience. "Luxury Escapes" take notice adding this exquisite remote beautiful resort is in your best interests I can assure you. The 1 bedroom pool villa became our most secluded tranquil functional comfortable hideaway ever. Walking through the gorgeous interesting gardens and streams was bliss in itself, I love good gardens I have one and expect that in a luxury resort - LUX TALAY has a stunning new young garden which over the next 3-5years will transform into True Paradise ( & it already is). As I return to many resort, I love to witness the evolution of gardens- LUX Talay - Garden is sublime in the evenings they have mist distributers throughout the meandering creeks, as you wander down to the main pools bar & restaurants its magical & calming. The Kitchen foods are all delicious - though with western tourists arriving soon some more menu development is necessary the breakfast is great but needs a few little tweaks. This isn't Phuket Bangkok or Ko Samui - English is not widely spoken here & support will be difficult to find outside your hotel, so be prepared know where your going plan & stay calm & measured. If you need all the western tourist around you to feel comfortable go to the mainstream places. This wont be for you ! If your confident experienced looking for remote peace & quiet in a stunning layed back location, then come here. Remember yourself, keep your mouth shut mostly, be respectful & you'll just love & enjoy this rare remote relaxing HEAVAN ON EARTH."

"I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I discovered it while I was exploring the area, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed and welcomed. The beach is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind away from the crowds. One of my favorite parts was waking up to the beautiful view from my room—it was absolutely stunning and made every morning special. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm and relaxing, making it a great choice for anyone looking to escape and enjoy some peaceful time by the sea. Everything was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. What made my stay even better was the excellent service. The receptionists were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to find a solution whenever I needed assistance. At check-out, the elevator stopped working, and instead of rushing me, the receptionist politely called my room to let me know about the situation. She even asked if I needed help carrying my luggage and told me to let her know if she could assist in any way. That level of care and attention made me feel truly valued as a guest. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views, a quiet beach, and outstanding hospitality."

"There's construction happening next to the accommodation from 8 AM to 5 PM, which was constantly noisy and made it impossible to get any rest. On top of that, the workers were building between the 2nd and 3rd floors, and they kept glancing into our room. It felt incredibly invasive, so we had to keep the blackout curtains closed to prevent outsiders from seeing in. We had planned this trip to relax and enjoy the view, but it was a huge disappointment. I wish the accommodation would inform guests staying in rooms adjacent to the construction site about the situation. Even just mentioning it as a concern point would be helpful, so guests can decide if they're okay with it, or perhaps offer different rates for rooms facing the construction compared to other rooms. It's not fair to pay the same price when the quality of the stay is so different. Such a letdown. It's a shame, as the place is well-decorated and has a good view, but it all went to waste.
