Kunming Xishan District Hotels

Very lovely hotel, situated right nearby of the old town area. It took us 10 mins walk from the night streets. The hotel itself has amazing traditional decoration. Room is clean and well-equipped with amenities. The breakfast is really delicious, big portion, and the reception made sure we choose our breakfast once we checked in. There are also some activities like welcome drink, local tea testing and mid-night nourishing soup. The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, so may need to consider if you have elderly guests. The highest rooms are on the 2nd floor. Highly recommended!

Having traveled to over 20 countries, this is my first time reviewing an accommodation. When you're on the road, you often miss home. But not here! We booked the Loft, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second, it felt just like home. We enjoyed tea daily, and the hotel even provided complimentary afternoon tea. The 24-hour butler service was excellent, always available and responsive. They thoughtfully prepared a travel guide for us. The daily breakfast was a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options! We will definitely be back.

The hotel environment is excellent, maintaining the consistent standards and style of InterContinental. The room itself is very spacious, well-equipped, and the service is attentive. The separate design of the bathroom and toilet is very practical. The butler and front desk manager demonstrated a strong service-oriented mindset and effective problem-solving skills, with satisfactory solutions. The hotel is conveniently located near the Folk Culture Village and Haigeng Dam.

My stay at Jinbi Clubhouse exceeded expectations. The front desk upgraded my room for free, and it was spotlessly clean. I particularly loved their bedding; it was very comfortable. All the staff were incredibly friendly. Whether it was checking in at the front desk, having breakfast in the morning, or encountering housekeeping staff, everyone would stop and greet me politely. It felt like a very professionally managed hotel! I also have to commend the location – right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

The location is excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room had great natural light and was spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The staff were friendly and responsive to any issues. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and was well-equipped with stable hot water. It offers great value for money, perfect for both business trips and tourism. Highly recommended!

This is indeed a courtyard hotel, and it's incredibly quiet. As soon as you enter, there's a bar with a fridge, and the TV is huge, with seamless screen mirroring from my phone. The wet and dry areas are completely separate: the washbasin, shower, and toilet are all in individual sections. The mattress is just right, not too soft or too firm, and there's a choice of regular pillows and memory foam pillows, so I slept very comfortably. There was a stack of bottled water on the table by the door, which was very convenient to grab on the way out. Plus, the staff's service attitude was excellent. All in all, I'm very satisfied!

My stay at Sofitel Kunming was fantastic. The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with great attention to detail in terms of cleanliness. The lobby was spacious and grand, with elegant French decor that was truly impressive. All the hotel staff were warm and proactive in their service. Mia, in particular, followed up throughout our stay, providing attentive and thoughtful service, proactively understanding our needs and promptly helping to resolve any issues. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient, with no tedious waiting. Both the hotel's facilities and service were excellent, making for a very pleasant and comfortable experience. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance.

The hotel room was cleaned very clean, no smell, the bed was very comfortable, the front desk service was intimate, the check-in was very fast, the staff was gentle and polite, the hotel was quiet, the facilities were complete, and the travel was convenient. The overall stay experience is very good, cost-effective, highly recommended.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! We chose the loft family duplex room and it was an amazing surprise – the two-story layout was spacious, and the kids' bedding was adorable and soft. The view from the window was superb, looking out directly onto a classical Chinese garden, full of lush greenery that was incredibly soothing. The lobby bar and library/lounge area were exquisitely designed, with clean and stylish details, and the accompanying tableware was neat and complete. The service was thoughtful and meticulous, and the common areas were elegantly decorated, blending traditional Chinese charm with modern simplicity. It's perfect for both family trips and short-term getaways. Our entire stay was comfortable and relaxing; I highly recommend staying here when you visit Kunming!

Great hotel, super clean and modern rooms that were very well equipped with anything you could need. They have outside gardens on each floor and beautiful courtyards to hmrest when you want a break from being out all day. The breakfast is delicious, a good selection of local and western items. Location was very cool next to the night market so plenty of fun places to have meals and despite the market being there all day, the rooms were extremely quiet. Also very easy and quick (under 20 mins) to get a didi to Kunming station.
