Kunming Xishan District Hotels

Having traveled to over 20 countries, this is my first time reviewing an accommodation. When you're on the road, you often miss home. But not here! We booked the Loft, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second, it felt just like home. We enjoyed tea daily, and the hotel even provided complimentary afternoon tea. The 24-hour butler service was excellent, always available and responsive. They thoughtfully prepared a travel guide for us. The daily breakfast was a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options! We will definitely be back.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The service is excellent, and the breakfast is really good too. They have a great selection, including rice noodles, regular noodles, soy milk, milk porridge, sweet potatoes, and eggs – enough to get you full and satisfied. Plus, the air conditioning and hot water are available 24/7. The environment is truly wonderful; the staff provides impeccable service. There are lots of trees outside the entrance, making it very cool and, most importantly, very quiet. It’s perfect for a relaxing vacation. Getting around is super convenient, and you can park right at the entrance for free. I genuinely recommend everyone stay at this hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for 11 days while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, and I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to the front desk, restaurant staff, and housekeepers for their exceptional care. The front desk kindly allowed me to check in early, the restaurant had delicious food and offered discounts, and the housekeepers were thoughtful and meticulous. Even the valet parkers went above and beyond, finding me convenient parking spots close to the entrance every day, and they even had EV charging stations. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Courtyard Hotel during our trip to Kunming. The hotel boasts a truly unique ambiance with its beautiful and tranquil courtyard design. The moment we stepped in, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel right at home. The hotel also offers a fantastic array of complimentary services, including breakfast, afternoon tea, sweet soup before bedtime, free laundry service, Chinese tea tasting, and even a Hanfu experience. While the room rate isn't the cheapest, I believe it's absolutely worth it, as they provide far more than just a place to sleep – it's a complete and thoughtfully curated experience. During our stay, I wasn't feeling very well, so having such a quiet and comfortable environment to rest in was incredibly important to me. The staff's concern and care truly made me feel comforted and supported. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway, and Kunming Old Street, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. Thank you to the entire hotel team for your care these past few days. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kunming and would highly recommend it to friends who appreciate a charming courtyard style and a thoughtful accommodation experience.

After a long and tiring journey, I was so relieved to encounter such a warm and welcoming front desk at this hotel. The moment I walked in, I was greeted politely, and the staff were all very friendly and approachable, without any stiff or robotic service. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I quickly received my room card. They also proactively provided useful information like access hours, water replenishment, and housekeeping schedules. When I requested to switch to a quieter room last minute, the front desk actively coordinated and communicated, patiently reassuring me and resolving my request perfectly. Their attitude throughout was gentle and patient, and their service was thoughtful, professional, and genuinely caring. The excellent front desk service is definitely a bonus for this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall experience was great, with outstanding value for money. I will definitely book here again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a worry-free stay.

Facilities: Fully equipped, with a smart toilet and whole-house voice control! Plenty of shared bikes/electric scooters nearby, and the subway station is about 1km away. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, very satisfied. Environment: A pleasant surprise! Conveniently located within the Ethnic Village scenic area, with excellent transportation and a great environment. Service: Extremely attentive. The receptionist was very helpful, recommending many good restaurants and transportation options.

The room was clean and tidy, and the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. What really stood out was the front desk service, which was absolutely superb. This stay was a truly fantastic experience. There's a laundry room right on the first floor, and it's close to all the attractions. Plus, there's a car park right next door, which is really convenient. Definitely coming back!

Full marks, highly recommended! The EVEN Hotel by InterContinental Kunming Dianchi Lake is the top choice for a Dianchi Lake getaway! The hotel lobby is located on the 8th floor, offering breathtaking views of Dianchi Lake and the Sleeping Beauty Hills (Western Hills). The sunset views are especially therapeutic. As a brand focused on health and wellness, EVEN Hotel boasts unique details: rooms come with yoga mats, resistance bands, and a white noise system for better sleep, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routine even on long trips. The rooms are new, clean, and feature a simple yet refreshing design, with very comfortable Sealy mattresses for a restful sleep. The Food and Beverage restaurant offers a rich breakfast selection, including authentic Yunnan copper pot rice noodles. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the lake view is an excellent experience. The hotel also features a 24-hour gym, self-service laundry room, and a kids' club, making it suitable for both family vacations and business trips. The location is superb, very close to Haihong Wetland Park and Haigeng Dam, making lakeside strolls very convenient. Tom was warm, attentive, and responded promptly. Overall, the value for money is excellent. This is my top choice when visiting Kunming Dianchi Lake, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the Spring City!

Staying here felt like a temporary escape from the city's hustle and bustle, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the unique charm of Chinese aesthetics. Both the facilities and soft services were impeccable, offering great value for money. I've already recommended this hotel to my friends and family – it's definitely worth repeat stays. Kunming is wonderful, I'll be back!

This is indeed a courtyard hotel, and it's incredibly quiet. As soon as you enter, there's a bar with a fridge, and the TV is huge, with seamless screen mirroring from my phone. The wet and dry areas are completely separate: the washbasin, shower, and toilet are all in individual sections. The mattress is just right, not too soft or too firm, and there's a choice of regular pillows and memory foam pillows, so I slept very comfortably. There was a stack of bottled water on the table by the door, which was very convenient to grab on the way out. Plus, the staff's service attitude was excellent. All in all, I'm very satisfied!
