Hotels near Duanzhou, Zhaoqing

I like Song culture because the Song Dynasty is the peak of Chinese traditional culture and aesthetics, as well as the source of life aesthetics that integrates art and life. In other words, the Song Dynasty combines elegance and daily life, and is the most suitable dynasty for living. Then of course I have to enter this Xinghu Lanyue with the theme of ancient Duanzhou Song culture. The overall structure is based on wood, ”replicating” the flavor of the Song Dynasty, horse head walls, blue brick and green tile walls, integrating stone carvings, wood carvings, and brick carvings, making me feel as if I have traveled through the ancient Duanzhou of the Song Dynasty a thousand years ago. There are many traditional cultural elements in the homestay, such as unique pavilions, antique guest rooms and tables and chairs, poetic landscape wall paintings, etc. The public area is built with reference to Su-style gardens, with rockery and flowing water, and elegant environment, all hidden between the trees in the valley. I live here, as if I have traveled to the Song Dynasty.

Really great customer service by the front desk! The room was great as well. Able to open a 28 inch luggage fully in the room! :)

Very cute little hotel on the lake with a Japanese style to it. Friendly staff and the beds aren't rock hard, which is always good. Restaurants nearby and a good, relaxed atmosphere all round.

The area is close to many of the tourist attractions. The room is spacious and clean.

Great location with lots of eateries downstairs. Free laundry machines and dryers at the 12 level. Room service lady is very polite. The spa at the 7 level offers great massage service with dinner, fruits, drinks and supper. Good stay.

Lovely place to stay right in the scenic area of the 7 Star Crags. The booking of our room came with a set breakfast and it was good. (You can choose either the Chinese or Western set) The hostel has its own restaurant, so it was very convenient to have meals. We had dinner there one night and it was delicious and the price was reasonable. The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostess was also very helpful.. Although she was away during our 2 nights' stay, she contacted us through Wechat and helped to book a taxi to our next destination.

It was really great and pleasant stay for two days in this hotel and it’s huge, but everything is clean and comfortable. If you’re going to visit the city, you just need to stay only at this hotel to be sure that your vacations will be fine) here is a wonderful Russian receptionist and her name is Lisa, so you can ask for her for any help! Also, you can find a European food here, not too many but it’s comfortable.  The view is amazing and the territory of the hotels is huge and also really nice ! The inside swimming pool is just great and our kids were loved to stay there for a long time 😀

I want to start off by confirming that 95% of guests who stayed here gave it an outstanding review, they certainly earned it. The check-in was fast and efficient, Guest Services staff were friendly, and courteous, we felt welcomed and our business is appreciated. The room is spotless, housekeeping staff did an excellent job. It is well appointed, and the decor is modern and elegant. We had the cozy 2-bed room and the beds are a good size, much bigger than a standard twin bed, and were comfortable. The TV has a lot of channels to choose from, but most of them are in the Mandarin language, surprisingly they had the NHL playoffs live showing on one of the channels. I want to give special thanks to the Guest Services Supervisor Qiuyan Mo，ZhaoQing is experiencing a heat wave the past few days, and apparently because of a installation miscalculation, the hot weather turned the cold water taps in the hotel hot, in all my years of traveling, I have definitely experienced not having enough hot water in my room, but never no cold water… Qiuyan Mo did everything possible to try to alleviate the problem. It was surely not her fault, and there really is nothing she could do, but she immediately took the responsibility, and was very apologetic, she offered to upgrade us to a more superior room, but since that would not solve the problem, we declined. She also personally delivered a complimentary fruit plate to our room, and left instructions for her staff to make sure we’re comfortable and to satisfy all our needs. Even though it was not ideal to shower and brush teeth in what seemed like 36°C water, but because of the way Qiuyan Mo handled the situation, made it a little more bearable. I would definitely recommend this hotel because the staff are all well trained, professional, and hospitable. I would certainly be booking this hotel again the next time I am in ZhaoQing.

Very family oriented and nice modern design
