The service still had teething problems. The attitude is spot on with a few exceptions but this appears to be training problems. They need to gear towards a high end cruise for staff. I have visited again but felt hussled rather than looked after. It will be great i am sure .however was promised personal service this do not happen.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Trueman Court for the weekend, whilst visiting Liverpool. The rooms were very spacious and airy, giving the whole room an open and modern feel. The combination of luxury, whilst also being in a prime location (walking distance from all of the shops, bars and restaurants) fitted the bill perfectly for our weekend. One of the things we most enjoyed that most other places seem to lack was a proper functional kitchen. Everything was shiny and brand new, with a very good coffee machine and modern amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Liverpool. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

City Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and although most of the guests are young travellers it is a quiet place, so you can have a good nights rest after your days on the streets of Liverpool. You should definitely start your day with a breakfast in the very uniquely furnished Restaurant/Bar. You'll be greeted by the most lovely Denise, who will fulfill your every wish. And while enjoying your coffee and planning your day you should ask her about the poins of interest wihtin the city. She may also provide some interesting facts about the histoy of the building you are staying at... you'll be surprised.

So, to start with the main thing for me when I stay somewhere is the staff and service and this is why I'm rating this hotel 5* stayed for 3 nights with my mate and was blown away by the reception staff, friendly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I'm rubbish with Google maps so was always asking directions to things and everyone was really helpful. To the room, we stayed in the Yellow Submarine, massive room, biggest I've ever seen, a few little niggles but probably just me. A bin in the main room would be super handy as only a tiny one in the bathroom. My mate loved the jacuzzi bath but I prefer a shower and although the actual shower was fab I was like Bambi on ice in the tub, so much so I had to stand on a flannel, I know the jacuzzi is the main thing but some kind of shower mat would be handy as super slippery tub! Location was perfect, so central and despite being threshers week and a LFC international home game we were not disturbed by any late night noise at all. Thank you for a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

I booked this last minute for our family stay and was so impressed by Book A Base apartments. Amazing customer service, spotless apartment, so spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. My family are already asking me to book again and they have other locations so we will definitely visit again. Staff even surprised my son with a birthday cake on arrival. Brought a large group of 30+ to Liverpool for the week. From the moment we booked to the time we checked out the team at the Liverpool Inn couldn't have been more helpful. The large dorm rooms we booked on recommendation catered to our every need and the shared kitchen was a great facility for us to use to feed the group. The games room was also a great facility to use for the group when needed. The location was perfect for us and was closely situated to the university (2 mins) and the city centre (5 mins). Busy spot (lots of bars, restaurants, and clubs nearby) with lots of people coming and going but very secure and safe with staff keeping a close eye on all things. 24hr manned reception and a strict set of rules with regards to behavior yet a really cool sort of relaxed vibe about the place. We will be back for sure!!
