"From June 7, 2025, to June 17, 2025, we stayed at the beautiful Caimito Beach Hotel again, this time for the fourth time. And every time, it feels like coming home. The owner always greets me with a warm smile and the words "Welcome back, my friend"—a small gesture, but so precious. Everything about this hotel is perfect: the rooms are spotless, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful (+++ rating!), and the beachfront location is ideal for those seeking peace, nature, and hospitality. We are so happy to have discovered this hidden gem in Maasin. I live partly in Belgium and partly in General Trias, Cavite, and my in-laws live in Hilongos (Leyte). So we know the region well, and I can say with certainty: this hotel is among the absolute best in Southern Leyte. Extra tip: the restaurant is excellent! You can dine indoors or on the cozy terrace. Everything is freshly prepared and served with love. Definitely try the spaghetti bolognese—it's simply +++! For me, this stay is always an 11 out of 10. To anyone visiting South Leyte: look no further – this is the place you want to stay."

"Warm welcome by the owners Jilo, Ralf, and staff. Excellent accommodation, good food. The entire hotel and soft landscaping is spotlessly clean. There is also a well maintained Koi Carp pond. We were in room 7, plenty of space, and a nice view out to sea. The swimming pool is well maintained. You can walk to the local town along the beach when the tide is out. We visited the Save & Earn shop. They kindly sorted a problem with my local "Smart" Sim Card and topped it up for me."

"What can I say. Such a great experience. The vibe was excellent. The staff extremely tentative and helpful both in the hotel and the dive shop. The diving was off the charts!! I kept wanting to go back to coral gardens and was never disappointed. The colours and vibrancy of the reef is worth several dives. So many turtles from tray size to table top size and bigger. The equipment and boats are top notch and all in good condition. The food is good and I have a favourite that I would highly recommend. Blackened Chicken. If you are looking for a place to unwind relax with excellent diving then this is the place."

"It is a pretty resort with a sunny swimming pool in a lush setting, varied choice for breakfast, good restaurant dishes too, close to Talisey beach with lots of boats, at low tide you can go to quinale beach or to the center from Anda or on the other side at White Beach where I recommend the Old Plantation restaurant which is excellent! Otherwise, it is doable on foot by road but it is better to have a scooter. A criticism all the same because there was work right next door on the path and the hotel had not warned us so that when we disembark after a long journey we want to rest... pleasant staff, however the manager a very commercial smile.."

"Anda is a hidden gem of the Philippines, and the Island View Beachfront resort is the hidden gem of Anda. This place is a little away from the town center, but it is easy cheap transport if you want to leave the resort, but in saying that, in my opinion this place has everything you need. From the time you arrive the greeting from Peter the owner and all the assistance, friendliness, smiles and kindness from all the staff was fantastic. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable, with a brilliant view of the beach at the front and their incredible gardens at the rear. Seriously the peace and tranquility of this place can not be rated high enough, it is just amazing. I am going to do a separate review of the restaurant (The Old Plantation) as it was the best food I experienced in all my time in the Philippines. Well priced for touch of paradise."
