Hotel Europa Splendid ★★★★
"We stayed one night on this hotel. It is a 3 star plus hotel. Reception was nice and resourceful. Bedroom good and clean. Very well located. We do recomend this hotel."
Hotel Therme Meran - Terme Merano ★★★★
"The most satisfying hotel in the trip"
Boutique Hotel Imperialart ★★★★
"Great boutique hotel centrally located and with very stylish rooms. The staff are also super friendly! Coffee at the cafe is really nice."
Hotel Villa Laurus ★★★
"Terrible experience during a business trip for which no assistance or feedback was provided and no tax document was produced as requested, following four reminders."
Grand Hotel Bellevue - Adults Only ★★★★
"The hotel is beautiful and close to restaurants. We drove ourselves, and there was an extra $20 parking fee, but it was convenient as we didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot."
Hotel Castel Rundegg (Adults Only) ★★★★
"I stayed one night with my wife in a double room. The room was basically clean (there was a long spider web and dust of about 10 cm in the bathroom) and can be considered a normal room, which does not justify the high cost. The two swimming pools and the wellness area with sauna and Turkish bath available to guests are appreciated. I booked a 90-minute treatment (Rasul Haman) at the spa for my wife. Apart from the mix-up with the booking time, which was changed more than once without even being notified, my wife would have liked to add another treatment, but they did not have any other appointments available. Nevertheless, they reduced the time of the booked treatment by including the second one, but leaving the price of the first one unchanged and adding the second one, which was possible thanks to the sale of creams (paid for in cash). Finally, it is curious that the hotel's website advertises the GOLDEN AUTUMN IN MERANO with a 15% discount on accommodation (see the section SPECIAL DEALS of the hotel portal) , but when I asked for the discount by email, Mr David replied that “we are currently in peak season”, which is rather bizarre for October 11! We booked half board with dinner included; the meal was plentiful, and I did not fully appreciate everything (the risotto, for example, had a lot of liquid in the dish). In conclusion, I think the value for money is quite low, mainly because the cost is too high for the quality of the room and the food."
Hotel Mignon Meran Park & Spa ★★★★★
"Easily worth 5*, ticking every box in terms of attentive not overbearing staff, utterly professional but also friendly. The food is superb and presented beautifully. Not being a chain, but an established family business certainly gives it the edge. Unusual but so welcome to find tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom"
Hotel Aurora ★★★★
"Top Location, Perfect Service,"
Guesthouse Suiteseven ★★★★
"SuiteSeven is a stunningly beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of the old City of Merano. Each room is a large suite outfitted with exceptional attention to detail. This is where high art architecture and design meets modern technology in a historic setting. Our room included an oversized soaker bath tub, steam equipped shower with light and aroma therapy, two large Samsung televisions in the bedroom and living areas, high end music sound system with I pad controller, electronic controlled privacy shutters to block out sound and light, high speed internet and a great work space. This place has it all. This small hotel has a modern elevator and very quaint dining area with an outdoor balcony and rooftop terrace. Breakfast is served each morning by the gracious on site host. A large scale hotel would have a difficult time trying to match the quality of this establishment. This was my first visit to Merano on my way from Davos to Venice but certainly not my last. The oldest part of the historic district dates back to 850. If you plan to visit Merano in your future this is the place to stay."

Hotel Pension Verdorfer
"We stayed at the hotel Verdorfer for one night but we found ourselves very good. The reception was magnificent from all the staff, they made us feel at home and chocolated us. It will certainly be our first choice for our next holiday in Merano or surroundings."
Windsor Merano Hotel & Suites
"Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, clean, comfortable and smartly appointed. A place for everything in your suitcase. Breakfast complete and delicious. Perfect location for walking, hiking, dining and people watching. Thank you Danieli"
Villa Bavaria
"The villa, very well-treated, with a quiet garden, offers an outdoor and fascinating atmosphere. It is perfect for a dreamy and poetic holiday. One neo: a few stones of overweight purchased with taste, the departure left us the desire to return."
Hotel Ansitz Plantiz
"Very nice boutique hotel. Great team, great service, very nice breakfast, wonderful rooms and really good spa area. It's not too big, very clean and well design. I would recommend visiting it."
Hotel Juliane
"We have been very well at JULIANE and enjoyed the beautiful garden facilities including outdoor pool or the hall bath. All staff were always very helpful, quick and sympathetic, and the food (even if something more choice at breakfast would be great) was very good. Even in the efficient helps that have nothing to do with the hotel operations were helped immediately and vigorously (super!). All-in was an excellent holiday time, and we would like to come back."
Villa Eden a Member of Leading Hotels of the World
"what an incredible hotel! so quiet and peaceful. incredibly nicely decorated. friendly staff. such a good breakfast. many healthy options. the food was delicious. What I liked less was that you could add a tip after you've eaten, but then when you check out, the hotel still automatically adds a service tip to the final bill. And no hair conditioner in the bathroom."
Hotel Pollinger
Relais & Chateaux Hotel Castel Fragsburg
"The staff at the hotel and the restaurant are the nicest and most accommodating people I've encountered in over 50 years of traveling. The hotel is charming -- lovely common rooms and dining areas, gardens and nice size pool, not to mention the medieval castle directly above it and the lovely waterfall a 20 minute walk away. The rooms and dining areas (outdoors and in) look out onto the valley below and mountains on the other side, making the 10 minute drive up a windy road with hairpin turns worth the effort. I stayed in Room 220, which was large, with a small sitting area and desk as well as a small balcony. My adult daughter stayed in 215, which was an even nicer small suite. There are only 20 rooms/suites in the hotel. The half board had many gourmet treats and was good value. An a la carte menu was also available. For those with the means, a 12 seat Michelin starred restaurant is on the premises. The chef oversees the other restaurant too. Nearby, there is some nice hiking at about 6000 feet (a gondola ride gets you to the top), very extensive gardens (Trauttmansdorff Castle) and the the town of Merano with a beautiful church) but this is not the heart of the Dolomite hiking paradise."
Residence Rösch
"Lovely small hotel in a perfect location for experiencing and exploring Merano. Rooms are super clean, comfortable, and smartly decorated. Delicious breakfast on the terrace each morning. Owner/manager Thomas is very helpful with all things related to your stay as well as recommendations regarding local sites and restaurants. Loved the hotel and the city!"
Garni Villa Tyrol - Adults Only
"I have stayed at many hotels around the world, and I have never experienced such rudeness from a staff member. Our flight was cancelled, which caused us to lose a night in Italy. We caught the next available flight and then had a five-hour drive to the hotel. Unfortunately, check-in closed at 7 PM and we arrived at 7:30 PM. While I completely understand we were late, the hostile and unwelcoming way we were treated was totally unacceptable. Instead of even a hint of empathy, we were met with unnecessary attitude. With so many gorgeous hotels nearby, I would strongly suggest staying elsewhere. This place is absolutely not worth the stress."
Hotel Gartenresidence Zea Curtis
"We stumbled upon the hotel quite by chance. It's in a very good location for exploring Merano on foot, yet very quiet, and has plenty of parking. The rooms are very nice, and you can use the kitchen if needed. They also serve a very good breakfast. There's a heated pool available. Everyone is very nice."
Hotel Gruberhof
Modern apartment with large balcony. Near city center.
Residence Diana
"Top equipment, great location, very friendly reception"
Hotel Kolping
"A lovely hotel, very welcoming staff and quality foods. We specially liked the wellness area because of the quietness, no noisy children. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small and the area is exposed to busy road. Parking lots are fine for small car, with bigger cars you have a challenge. Overall we liked our stay and will come again."
Hotel Villa Freiheim
"Very personal hotel in the 3 I offer great service for generations! with unlimited excursions, mountain tours and walks (Meranerhöhenweg) Culinary ***** Restaurant Roberts and Sigmund especially recommendable!!!"
