"Hello, The Lodge Kerisper in La Trinité sur Mer: a very regrettable experience. Very average welcome, just a smile. The photo book that sits at the reception desk quickly makes us understand (with the comments of the receptionist who readily talks about the financiers behind the hotel project...) that we are there to make profitable the colossal investments made in the creation of the establishment. The reception and the bar (same space, not the slightest screen between the 2 areas, what confidentiality?...) are arranged in a minimalist way and totally lack warmth and soundproofing - we will also be "caught" in spite of ourselves in a long technical discussion between the hotelier and an IT service provider, in which we really should not have been involved. No small table lights, no consumption cards, a simple sign fixed to the wall that you have to go and consult to make your choice. The barmaid on duty at 9:30 p.m., clearly not dedicated to this role, had to open numerous locked drawers to finally find the mint lozenge we wanted... The room is immediately recognizable in name only, its decor is minimalist. The floor is made of thin PVC slats reminiscent of simple linoleum laid on an uneven floor that sounds hollow in some places. The bedding is borderline comfortable, the pillows flat. The whitewashed wall is peeling and cracked (NB: this wall separates the bathroom and the bed: the room was clearly taken from the lawn surrounding the building, and three steps separate the two spaces, so the exterior wall of the building is inside the room itself). The safe placed on the floor in a corner of the wardrobe requires you to lie down on your stomach to enter a code, in any case it can only contain a simple wallet, so we had to leave the camera, tablet and laptop on the table. The internal wooden shutters, not blackout, are hidden by a simple net curtain (= no real curtains). In short, we had signed up for a monastic retreat!... One more word about the breakfast veranda: extremely noisy as soon as a family speaks out loud. Tables and chairs completely mismatched (questionable comfort), strongly reminiscent of a bric-a-brac from several garage sales. Minimalist breakfast – at 20 euros – fits on 2 tables: no tea display, pastries limited to croissants (no pain au chocolat or pain aux raisins), no homemade pastries, no specialty breads (note: 3 pre-cut slices of corn bread). Fruit salad in tiny ramekins quickly filled with apple, apple, apple and... one or two small cubes of pineapple in a very, very watery and tasteless syrup. In short, at the risk of boring you: the 4-star rating (for which you are certainly not responsible) is a high-level scam. For our next destination, we will take a very close look at the"
