"My husband and I visited Spicers Clovelly Estate for a night in May, and had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful. The main building - where the reception and The Long Apron restaurant are located - is stunning. It’s a beautiful building in the shade of a massive Moreton Bag fig tree, overlooking manicured lawns and a pool beyond. On the afternoon we arrived, we went for a walk along the signposted forest path and up to the Lake View Deck which has a lovely view of Lake Baroon (and a table to have a meal, and a flat grassy area for a picnic which Spicers can arrange for you on request). We also walked into picturesque Montville town, which is only 1 kilometre way, to do some window shopping. We loved our suite at Spicers. The bed and pillows were amazing! Because it was slightly chilly, it was lovely to sit by the fireplace in the little sitting room that our room shared with the other rooms in our building. Our room rate included breakfast, and we ate sitting in the sunshine at a table on the lawn. The salmon fish cakes and omelette were delicious, as was the tray of pastries, fruit and granola that were also included. We feel very fortunate to have enjoyed a wonderful weekend in such a beautiful spot."

"We had a gorgeous couple of days away in the beautiful Montville rainforest. The Gatsby cabin was well appointed with a roaring fire to keep us cosy. The supplied breakfast hamper was more than enough for 2 days and the morning delivery of still-warm, freshly baked croissants was simply delightful. We will definitely be return visitors when we are wanting a romantic winter getaway. Thanks Shelle and Tony for your hospitality."

"Lovely views from 1st floor mountain view rooms. Accommodation is tired and needs updating. Little touches like maintaining lose screws on the dining chairs, curtain rails. Smelt damp on arrival but that could be because of the weather. Appreciate that the building is old and creaky but the noise coming from the adjoining rooms is very annoying, and people showed no thought about other people staying in the property. Owners were very helpful."

"Wow !! This place was fantastic in the heart of the rainforest. Wood fire burning on arrival with champagne and chocolates. Breakfast for two (bacon, eggs n toast) for the two nights we stayed. Walking distance for the 4+k hike ( very worth while) along with the Kondalilla Eco restaurant which was Magnifico too !! We stayed in the Dreamtime cabin and we will be back. Great accomodation and price 👌🏼 No wifi just digital tv - FYI"

"This resort is lovely, a truly wonderful atmosphere, perched in the mountains & away from hustle & bussle of the coast! Craig has put alot of work into this place & it shows, the aesthetic is so relaxing & really is a great detox! Their are a number of different ways too spend your day, but i’ve decided that overlooking the pool having a beer is the way to go! The seminyak suite is lovely, it overlooks the entire resort & i would highly recommend this suite too lovers & honeymooners alike, its truly magical. The breakfast hamper included made a lovely early morning brekky for me and the mrs, a great idea. The host, Craig is a very easy to get along with bloke that made me feel right at home & comfortable! I look foward to visiting again! Bali-Rustic is a good way to describe the theme, it’s awesome! Truly makes me feel like i'm on holidays in SEQ, I love it! I have been too loads of different resorts, hotels and various escapes in the Brisbane area & this certainly is among the top shooters - don’t miss out guys!"

"I'm writing this review on TripAdvisor as there seems to be an issue with leaving a review for this property on *********** (who we booked through). Sorry for the delay in writing this but our lives been a whirlwind for a couple of months. This is a lovely property with a gorgeous couple running it. The bedroom was spacious with a large bed, a comfy seating area and a bathroom with a powerful shower. The breakfast was impressive and saw us through until our evening meal with just a little snack between. After a day out, we would come back, have the last hour of sunshine sat around the little pool and then a glass of wine on the terrace furniture until we walked into town. Montville seems to be a bit more of a day time place with only a handful of places open in the evening (perhaps 5). This property is close enough to go to the seaside for the day and there's plenty of other small towns around about to visit. There's a great winery nearby. We stayed for 5 days out of our month in Australia and this hotel and it's owners were a highlight."

Had everything we needed - fireplace, clawfoot bath, real bean coffee machine, comfy bed and pillows, an excellent games room and peace & quiet. Close to Montville which is a beautiful little town and Woombye with the best bakery ever"

"We had a relaxing stay at The Falls and will absolutely be back. Great communication and check-in process. Hosts Alan and Aryna are lovely and welcoming while also giving you the space and privacy to relax. The cabin was spacious but with a warm and cozy feel – exactly the same as the photos. The property is quiet and you are surrounded by beautiful green forest. The location is perfect as you are only a few minutes from the main street of Montville, as well as Flaxton and Mapleton. Breakfast was generous and the delivery of freshly baked pastries in the morning was the icing on the cake."
