"A very nice place to stay while touring the bourbon trail and the area. We stayed in the Federal House, an annex to the main house and I would recommend the latter. Our upstairs room was ok and comfortable but the stairs are old and somewhat difficult for our age people. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay but would want to reserve a room in the main house when we go back."

"This hotel was previously a Hampton Inn. Let’s start with that. So imagine a newly renovated Hampton Inn. Everything is new and revitalized. Fresh paint and fixtures in the rooms. Sheets were not as nice as other Hiltons. The exterior needs some help but otherwise accommodations are great. Non-main Exterior doors and such need to be painted and could use a whole new refresh. So the downside, rooms will eventually have no microwaves, there is one in the lobby to use. Breakfast is lacking. You get cereal and bagels only. The hot bar like Hampton and waffles is all but gone, we decided to go to Mammies for breakfast on the second day, vice earring another day with mini-whets that tasted like cardboard. Supposedly, they are building a new Hilton near the Fairgrounds. I will probably find another hotel at another chain to stay at until the new one is built."
