Kangzhu Kangzhu Kangzhu! Everyone avoid her! Don't check her in! She has a bad attitude! When her attitude was bad, a savior appeared. Her name was "Wang Jianbo". It can really be said that the hotel is blessed! The service was very good. He upgraded me and kept apologizing! It wasn't his bad attitude, but he apologized frequently! He also gave me a small gift! He served with his heart throughout the whole process! It was really great😎 The hotel was very good overall and the stay was very comfortable, so I stayed again! "The hotel located on the South Bank of the river, 3-4 km away from the center of Kangbashi district. There's a park/walking-jogging-biking lane in front of the hotel and along the river to the bridge to the opposite. If you like to walk and want to stay in a quiet place, I recommend here. By the way you can call a taxi/Didi easily. The hotel staff couldn't speak English but they kindly helped you so far they could. You should ask them to add WeChat for they can answer you easily cuz WeChat offers translation function. The room we stayed was large, bright and clean, has good view if you choose river view."

"My stay at the Lotus Hotel far exceeded my expectations; it was an unforgettable desert getaway 🏜️. The hotel, shaped like a pristine white lotus, blooms in the Kubuqi Desert. Its unique architectural design, stunning against the golden dunes by day and magically illuminated by night, offers endless photo opportunities. The all-inclusive package is wonderfully hassle-free. The three buffet meals offer a wide variety, including authentic Inner Mongolian specialties, and snacks and drinks are available all day. The guest wristband grants unlimited access to Xiansha Island and Yuesha Island, with VIP access that bypasses long queues in the sun, significantly enhancing the overall experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provide direct desert views. A humidifier is a thoughtful touch, effectively combating the desert dryness. The staff are attentive and considerate, and the internal shuttle service makes getting around convenient. Watching the desert sunset in the evening, followed by a lively bonfire party and stargazing at night, creates a truly atmospheric experience. There’s no need to constantly travel back and forth to attractions; everything from dining to entertainment is handled in one place, making it perfect for families. If you’re visiting Xiangshawan, I highly recommend staying at the Lotus Hotel."

"This hotel, newly opened in June, has a very strong odor. My child's nose was blocked and their throat was sore within minutes of entering. If it weren't for the heavy luggage, exhaustion from the long journey, and the late night, I would have definitely checked out. I didn't sleep well the entire night, and the odor couldn't have been any worse. Due to the front desk's issues, we had to wait a while before checking in. They simply offered us some mineral water and a verbal apology. The hotel didn't consider the odor of the new hotel and the wait, offering any additional considerations like breakfast vouchers or small gifts. The front desk service was also inadequate, not informing us of the dining room and location upon check-in. The housekeeping service was also inadequate. Knowing the odor was new, they should have opened the doors and windows for fresh air before booking. No matter how new the hotel and its amenities are, a strong odor is unacceptable. I complained to the waiter, but he said he couldn't smell it and said it had been renovated a year ago. I wouldn't believe you. The hotel was built a year ago and it was still pretty good. The renovations, wardrobes, carpets, and other issues were definitely only in the last few months. I complained immediately, but there was no follow-up, which shows how poor their service attitude is. The only thing I felt was that they helped us carry our luggage to the room. Also, the hotel lobby entrance is not visible from the road, you need to go around from the other side, it is at the back."

"Overall, the Shansha Hotel offers a very good experience. The room design is full of sci-fi fantasy, making it particularly suitable for families with children. The staff in the hotel's kids' area are patient and attentive, actively guiding children in their play, which significantly enhances the family-friendly experience. The hotel is a bit on the smaller side with somewhat limited space, but the layout is compact and efficient, making it very convenient to access all functional areas. This actually works out as an advantage when traveling with kids, as you don't have to walk long distances. However, there are three minor drawbacks: 1. The dining quality significantly lags behind that of the Lotus Hotel. I suggest the hotel upgrade its meal standards. Adjusting room rates or dining prices accordingly would be feasible. For guests, the core appeal is the vacation experience, and improved dining would greatly boost overall reputation. 2. While the pool looks impressive, the water temperature is too low. Even with an outdoor temperature of 38℃ on that day, the pool water was still freezing cold, making it impossible to swim. This was a significant disappointment compared to expectations. 3. During my stay, there was a minor issue with room cleaning. Thankfully, the hotel, in coordination with Trip.com, resolved it efficiently and properly. Both the resolution process and the final outcome were very satisfactory. Compared to similar hotels in the Desert region, the Shansha Hotel is generally recommendable. Its unique, futuristic architecture resembles an interstellar island in the desert, making it a top choice for families with children."

"Facilities: Honestly, the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, as young people tend to prefer new technology. However, the amenities are excellent, including room access to the Dalangtaosha Hot Spring Club and the Orient Fitness Club. The fitness center, located on its own floor, is quite luxurious. Dalangtaosha is also accessible even if you're not staying there; it's a great spa. It's a great place for day trips. Cleanliness: The bedding appeared clean, but the rest of the room wasn't properly cleaned or replaced promptly. The children's toothbrush cups seemed reused, and I think the small bathroom stools should be cleaned or replaced promptly. The makeup mirror was clean on one side, but stained on the other—not a very pleasant experience! Environment: The location is great, and the second-floor restaurant is also excellent. The combination of white clouds and blue sky creates a soothing, grassland-like feel. The breakfast and late-night snacks are both worth mentioning. While the late-night snacks are just porridge and milk, they're very thoughtful. Wanzheng Plaza is downstairs, offering a variety of delicious food. Service: The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making me feel like a regular. When Zhang Min saw that there were children at the hotel, she immediately arranged a baby bed, gave baby toys, and arranged clothing service, which added a lot of convenience and joy to the trip."
