"My wife and I visited the Auburn Place Hotel last year and loved our experience. We returned this year and found a completely different experience. We understand the hotel is being renovated with new ownership but there was not excuse for what we had to put up with. They raised the rates to prepare guests for even higher rates soon and they significantly lowered the product! The room was poorly maintained, the environment felt rundown, and the breakfast was poor. Very disappointed!"

"We ate breakfast and it was great as expected. Our room was a little different. There was thick dust at the top of the ceilings and around the floor. The lights were dirty to touch. The comforter had an orange food stain as well as the pillow had something red spilled onto it. We got there late, so we just dealt with it. As far as checking into the hotel, When I was on this app, it was originally $49 for a king size, then jumped to $69 for 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 toddler. I had already prepaid as well. Then I got to the front desk and they wanted to charge me $20 more for the teenager. I even showed him I put it down on the reservation, then he printed me out a receipt telling me I did not. I was about to sleep in my car. He said since my husband was a veteran, (he seen it on the license) he said just don’t worry about it."
