Skyland Resort ★★

📍 Skyland Upper Loop Mile 41, Luray, Page County

"Staying in the park was a great experience with very close access to trails. The rooms are rustic cute, but could use some upgrades; particularly with better door seals as there were millipedes making their way into the room and fully functioning blinds. We also had to turn the very loud fridge off at night. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. Staff in the restaurant, especially the host/hostess, seemed less than happy with their jobs to the point of literally ignoring guests to have a side conversation with other employees and stating “I can’t wait to get off this mountain.” Overall, happy with our stay."

The Mimslyn Inn

The Mimslyn Inn ★★★

📍 401 W Main St, Luray

"This is a lovely hotel! It's classy and elegant, and overall it'll make your vacation that much more special. The location is great, as you can walk to restaurants or other places in Luray. The Luray Caverns are a quick drive away, as is a Walmart and Food Lion, and Skyline Drive's Thornton Gap Entrance is close by. I ate at the Circa '31 restaurant for breakfast, which was reasonably priced (the menu is small with a few standard breakfast options). Free coffee and muffins in the lobby at all times. The Speakeasy restaurant is very good, and has various specials/deals each night. The bedrooms are small, but comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, with an area for bonfires and hammocks, as well as a pool and hot tub area. The staff is very kind and accommodating. A few recommendations for the management: ~Put mini fridges in the rooms ~Put chairs on the balcony so people can use it as a sitting area ~Something to provide more counter space in the bathrooms I recommend the Mimslyn Inn to anyone staying in the Luray area!"

Hotel Laurance ★★★★

📍 2 South Court Street, Luray

"Wonderful quaint Hotel. My family and I came for a weekend stay and I must say it exceeded our expectations. Our room was very clean and nicely stocked. If we wanted to cook in, we could but we didn't because of all the lovely restaurants in walking distance. The manager there was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Hotel itself and the surrounding area. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do which made our stay even more pleasant. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone that is going to this area. I'm looking forward to our stay in the fall."

Days Inn by Wyndham Luray Shenandoah

Days Inn by Wyndham Luray Shenandoah ★★

📍 138 Whispering Hill Rd, Luray

"The room facilities were basic, and the breakfast selection was extremely limited, with only a few options and no seating. The booking specified four breakfasts for four people, but all that was provided was coffee and muffins; there wasn't even any bread, let alone anything else."

📍 1460 US-211, Page County

"I stayed here for one night when I went to Luray Cave. It must have been renovated, right? The actual photos are completely different from the official photos, they are still quite clean. The latest check-in is at 8pm, and there will be no staff behind you. However, the price was a bit expensive. It actually cost 124 knives per night, which was 10 knives more expensive than the tax-included price Ctrip estimated for me. Because the office lady was about to get off work when I arrived, I didn’t look carefully at that time, so I didn’t care about it later. ."

South Court Inn Hotels in Page County

South Court Inn

"There is an old Sanskrit saying – ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ : The "guest is equivalent to God". During our stay, Joe and Shannon went the extra mile to ensure that me and other guests like me were comfortable and well. Each smile, each greeting, each service radiated sincerity. An experience that is quite rare to see in the hospitality industry in this day and age. I guess as Army Veterans they taught us a LESSON in human relationship - You are not a GUEST but FAMILY. Joe and Shannon it is in the smile that touched us when we were greeted in the morning, during the day and also during the delicious veg Bfast. It is the warmth which i will carry back recommending a Cabernet Franc that was served as a welcome drink and recommending some of the best places to visit and we getting a discount since you are members. Look forward to come back again. Dr Deven Parmar MD Chief Medical Officer and Head Clinical RnD, Zydus Therapeutics Inc. New Jersey."

Mayneview B&B Hotels in Page County

Mayneview B&B

"My stay at Mayneview B&B was exactly what I didn’t even realize I needed—a true reset. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm, genuine, and effortlessly thoughtful. As a solo guest looking to recharge, I felt completely welcomed and cared for without ever feeling crowded. The breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with love. It was the kind of start to the day that makes you slow down and savor every bite. What stood out most was how accommodating and attentive the host was. Every small request was met with kindness and ease, and they seemed to intuitively understand the balance between offering support and giving space. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to rest, reflect, and reset, this is the place. Mission accomplished—and then some. I left feeling refreshed, re-centered, and already thinking about my return."

Skyland Resort ★★
"The only accommodation I stayed at in Xanadu had terrible cell phone signal, and no Wi-Fi in the rooms—only at the restaurant reception. It's unbelievable that this is America! The rooms weren't cheap either, and they were infested with bugs and damp. I highly recommend against staying here!"

"The hotel building has the feeling of an ancient castle, and the bed is very comfortable. It is located on a small hill, isolated from the world, quiet and comfortable. The facilities are also complete and the bed is comfortable. You can come here when you go to Xanadu"
