"I booked a room in Pengzhou for 900 yuan a night, thinking it wouldn't be a bad deal! But aside from the staff member who helped with my luggage and brought it to the room, there was absolutely no service. The directions to the laundry room were unclear, so I asked a staff member at the restaurant. She impatiently yelled at me, saying it was right across the street. When I saw the laundry room, I was so angry I laughed – two washing machines huddled alone in a corner of the gym. Because I booked a family suite with hot spring access, the hot spring was completely unavailable. There was a commercial street across the street, and the balcony soaking tub was just a curtain – unless you wanted to be stared at… We got back to the hotel late at night, and the courtyard gate was locked! There was no explanation on how to open it. Calling the front desk went unanswered, and when I went to the front desk, it was pitch black. Can you imagine a proper hotel with no one on duty at the front desk? If the gate hadn't been loose and I hadn't had to shake it a few times to get it open, we might have had to sleep on the street and find another hotel! The hotel needs to re-evaluate its management team; otherwise, they're wasting such a great location and view!"

However, it became unbearable to stay on the balcony at night due to the numerous mosquitoes. We had to go back inside the room, and we couldn't open the windows for ventilation while sleeping. Adding sliding or removable soft screens to the balcony would have been a perfect improvement."

The hotel has no private parking; parking is located at the back of the hotel, requiring guests to carry their luggage up three flights of stairs, making getting around very inconvenient."
