They upgraded our room for free; it was spacious and bright, and in the morning, we could watch the mist on the surrounding mountains dissipate from its thickest point from the terrace – perfect for relaxing. The guesthouse is located by the Dabeihe River, next to Qikou Village, which boasts ancestral halls, ancient houses, and spring water that locals drink directly from. An ancient path leads to another Hui-style village. The Dabeihe River is crystal clear, with shallow areas for children to play in, boat, paddleboard, or take a boat trip on the Changjiang River, surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, as well as forests of golden nanmu trees. The vegetables we ate were picked from a nearby garden; the "Daobanxiang" (a type of Sichuan pepper) was delicious. Unfortunately, Huang Yatou (a child) needed to book in advance, so we couldn't try it – a small disappointment. The children didn't want to leave; it's definitely worth a return trip. The location is at the border of Qimen and Fuliang County in Jiangxi Province, making it ideal for driving. Once the roads are improved, it will be even more convenient to visit Jingdezhen."

"We went during the hottest days of the week, arriving around 2 PM. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Upon entering the parking lot, staff provided us with sun umbrellas and helped us with our belongings. Entering the guesthouse was a pleasant surprise; it was very unique, with some rooms converted from old houses. The staff thoughtfully offered us chilled drinks upon check-in. Because there weren't many rooms available for the holiday, we booked quite late. We originally wanted a suite for our family, but they booked three rooms instead. The rooms weren't large, but the overall decor was warm and comfortable. One slight drawback was that our room was likely a large, separate room upstairs, with two smaller rooms downstairs. The room layout is similar to our previous accommodations, with a main hall, two rooms on the left and right, and one upstairs. The soundproofing between floors is terrible; we could hear even the slightest noise. There's a swimming pool next door, and a river flows right below the room. The water level is just right, with both shallow and deep sections. The water is clear in the shallows, perfect for playing in the water. It was just incredibly hot these past two days! 😂😂😂 On the second morning, we took the kids swimming in the river. The guesthouse has a restaurant, and we booked dinner there that evening. To be honest, the stinky mandarin fish was just so-so; it wasn't very good. The other dishes were okay, overall a very good experience. I'd come again if I have the chance! One thing worth mentioning is that there are tons of insects on the mountain. At night, you'll see a lot of insects crawling and flying on the door, but I didn't see any insects in the room. Also, the Americano cup we bought was really small; could it be filled up? It wasn't even full enough to fill a finger joint! The ones we bought outside weren't even that shallow! 😂"
