"Great parking, very clean, bedroom reasonable size with nice shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable so had 2 good nights sleep. The breakfast really was excellent offering the usual ham cheese and breads as well as croissants and brioche, but also eggs which you boiled yourself, all made for a great start to the day. There was a salon area where you could just sit and chat or watch a movie. The only slight disappointment was with our evening meal. My partner asked for rumpsteak and I had tilapia fillet. The steak was unfortunately cold when it arrived even though the sweet potato fries and veg were piping hot and delicious. My tilapia was delicious around the edges but the middle of the fish was not cooked through, but again the vegetables it was served with were piping hot and delicious. It hasn’t put us off eating there again, everyone has bad days or equipment issues. We would definitely stay here again, it is good value for money."

Hôtel Dupleix - Hyper Centre - Réouverture

"Hotel Duplex is a good two star hotel in an excellent location. It's just a two minute walk across the bridge over the river to explore Quimper. Also, there are a number of bars and restaurants in the streets to the rear of the hotel. The added bonus is free hotel parking. Parking at the front of the hotel in Blvd Dupleix is limited to about seven or eight cars and manoeuvring is a little tight. Suggest using the spacious hotel garage to the rear of the building with direct direct access to the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and overlooked the river. Everything was good and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate without being anything special but there was plenty to choose from. We just found the mini croissants a bit dry and chewy. Otherwise, all good. Olivier on reception was exceptionally helpful and spoke good English. Merci monsieur! I would use this hotel again if staying in Quimper."
