"This was a wonderfully warm and welcoming guesthouse that exceeded my expectations. Our family of four drove to Yeji Village to see the sea of ​​clouds and sunrise, and booked this wooden Miao-style house with a small courtyard. The young and capable hostess warmly welcomed us, asking beforehand if we wanted dinner and what we preferred – so thoughtful! The room was a traditional wooden structure, clean, hygienic, and well-laid out! It had air conditioning and a sofa, and the village evenings in October were quite cool, so we didn't need the air conditioning. The blankets were clean, soft, and smelled of sunshine; we slept very comfortably. It completely exceeded my expectations. The hostess prepared both dinner and breakfast single-handedly, proving herself to be very capable and virtuous. The food was delicious and to our liking. Other guests who stayed with us also praised it highly; it seems that a well-run guesthouse can earn positive reviews! I've traveled for many years and rarely leave reviews, but I give a thumbs up for this thoughtful service! Finally, the beauty of Yeji needs no introduction; it's stunning even on a bad day. The residents of Yeji greeted us with such kindness in their eyes. New houses are being built in the village, and I really hope it doesn't become overly commercialized like other famous tourist attractions.
