It's our 1st time staying in Seclusive, and we chose to celebrate my 50th birthday here (we're from Singapore). In our 6 days trip in Shanghai, this is the 3rd hotel we've stayed for 3 nights. We booked 2 rooms - a suite and a king-sized bedroom. Talk about the downside first. The suite (on the 2nd floor) is spacious with a terrace, however the king-sized bedroom (on the ground floor) was extremely small, it will not be suitable if you're a 6 footer at all (you'd probably be knocking your knee to alot of things). Since it is an old structured building, the sewerage system is no good (toilets in both our rooms were choked and needed attention). The staircase to the level 2 was really steep with uneven carpet. They should also plan to hire more (& younger) housekeeping staff as cleaning up the rooms takes longer than expected, we waited on the day of check-in as well as when we were out for lunch (2 hours). Now on the good things! Location is great as it is walking distance to alot of shops, cafes, restaurants. We reckon that this is a 'hot' and 'social influencer' locality with lotsa crowd taking photos and vids. What made the stay MOST PLEASANT and MEMORABLE is the staff named Ace, true to his name - he was truly a superstar with top-notch service and attitude, the type you'd think never exist in this world! From settling the laundry (with an external vendor), booking cars, restaurants reservations, birthday-surprise decor to the room, all coordination with external vendors and many more! Last but not least - with a bright smile at all times! If at all we decide to be back, its only because of Ace!

Treasure Garden Hotel in Shanghai A week before coming to Shanghai, I did my homework at home and made a lot of choices. I chose this hotel online and booked two rooms. I was really surprised when I entered the hotel, with green grass, century-old camphor trees, beautiful villas, and the garden full of sweet-scented osmanthus. The room is so beautiful, the view outside the window is pleasant, there are flowers and welcome fruits. The bedding is of high quality, the mattress is comfortable, and the room is quiet and clean. There are free capsule coffee and Snickers bars. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes good. In the evening, it is very pleasant to take a walk in the garden. The hotel service was very warm and thoughtful. A handsome and elegant man wearing glasses drove us around the hotel park in a battery car. He was very funny and polite. He explained everything from the architectural history of the hotel to the encyclopedia knowledge of various plants in the park. I hope the hotel will give you praise! The breakfast restaurant and room service are good and very service-minded. It was a very happy stay experience. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Shanghai.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Assisting me in ordering food delivery, ordering didi (cab/taxi) and also with my luggages. Special thanks to the very thoughtful house keeping lady, I think her surname is Fang, who is on duty from Dec 4th till 9th on the 11th floor. She put in extra effort and try her best to help my colleague from Philippines even with language barrier. Love the location as well, very near the subway station, beautiful surroundings during Autumn, a lot of locals and non local restaurants. Convenient location.

The front desk staff were friendly and kind. My room had a window facing a wall of the building next door, which isn't pleasant for a one-week stay but I wasn't there too often. The cleaning staff were also friendly and attentive and the room was cleaned daily. The big and soft butterscotch cat is a great addition to any hotel and the cafe out front is very popular. The setting overall is lovely. I didn't eat at the hotel but there are several cafes and restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood is great for exploring on foot or by bicycle.

I booked a few nights with high expectations. The hotel is a garden villa type bungalow. The external environment is well created and the photo effect is good (see picture). It is recommended for guests who like to take photos. It can be beautiful~ The hotel's internal facilities are a bit unsatisfactory. The room is too small, there is no mirror, the sockets are unreasonable, the bed is also very soft, there is only one pillow, and there is no place to put the big luggage. We barely fit two small suitcases in the bathroom. It's so small that it can't be separated from wet and dry, and it's a little difficult to turn around. Hehe, we are still slim and find it very inconvenient. This is the fault of the hotel. Fortunately, there is an elevator, but parking is inconvenient. Personally I feel that if you have requirements for the quality of your stay, check in with caution. There is really no experience at all, and the price is not cheap! The butler service is still in place, responsive to all requests, and can handle any problems in a timely manner. Milk and fruit biscuits are delivered to the room. The breakfast environment is good, with noodles and sandwiches to choose from, which can make you full. The environment is beautiful, but the facilities are flawless!

Old-fashioned decoration but excellent maintenance🉐️! It’s quite hygienic for a mysophobic person! I live nearby and chose to live here because my house was renovated for convenience. I often pass by it and thought it was very old, but I was pleasantly surprised when I moved in. It is much better than the Dragon Dream that I also lived in at home for repairs a few years ago! The only drawback of the room is that the space is relatively small, but the price is quite affordable and it is enough for one person. Good review 👍

I booked a hotel in Shanghai Ma, and I checked in at 10:00 in the morning. The counter helped me arrange it. The room was quite big. I wonder if there will be an upgrade? 🥹 The hotel is right next to the subway entrance, and the transportation is very convenient. Going to Hongqiao, the Bund, and Xintiandi are all on Line 10. I didn’t research on eating, but it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Xujiahui. The decoration is a bit old, but okay.

Sure enough, as the name is taken. City Yin, big hidden in the city. This is the most different urban homestay I have ever stayed in. This big yard, this big fireplace, lying in the sun in the afternoon, listening to the sound of running water, emptying yourself, enjoying the moment. This can no longer be simply called a homestay, a paradise in the city center. The landlord is very polite, and I am embarrassed to take one bite of you. All my questions are answered in seconds. The bed was very comfortable and there was a fragrance in the room. The key is that sleeping is particularly quiet, which is what I care about the most. Come live again in two weeks.

Service: 10/10. My mum and I were greeted at reception with warm tea and snacks. Honey (张小姐) added us on Wechat (Chinese social media) and provided us with food times and amenities for our stay. Location: 10/10 Amazing location. It's around 15 minutes walk from WuKang building which is the start of the famous Shanghai Citywalk. The hotel is 9 minutes walk from the closest metro (HengShanLu). Hotel: Perfect 👌🏼 We were given floor level 21 and had SPECTACULAR views. Absolutely superb. 💯 Food: Buffet breakfast. Afternoon OR evening tea included. Plus 1 bowl of noodle at night. What more can you ask for?! 10/10. Overall, I will recommend friends and family to stay. If you are deciding, stop & book right now!

Traditional hotel. The advantage is that it is in the Shanghai Jiaotong University campus. It is a tourist experience to visit the school. Located in the bustling business district of Xuhui, Capella is much better than the ones in Hainan! It's quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, making it very convenient to go out for a walk or ride a bike. Although the design of the small five-story building is climbed up and down, the functional areas are indeed divided very well. The sanitation and cleaning are good. Both bathrooms and toilets are smart and have heating functions. They are very friendly to friends who come to Shanghai in the winter. The audio-visual room does not disturb teammates who want to sleep. The light shading in the room is excellent and the sound insulation is very good. , it was quite quiet all night (but I don’t know if it was because there were few or no neighboring guests), which was appreciated by teammates who suffer from insomnia. The last unhappy thing is that because I like their body wash, I bought it for home use, but I forgot to check it in when I boarded the plane, and the security personnel took it away in vain😭😭😭I will bring my children back next time, continue. My daughter is about to take the entrance examination, and she went to Wukang Road to relax during the weekend. My daughter likes Bajin's text, so she took me to visit Bajin's former residence, which caused the interest of the children. The customer service girl is very intimate, the navigation is very accurate, and it is an unexpected joy: the homestay community is called ”Bole Courtyard”! In order to consume 23 years left too much annual leave to come to Shanghai, there is no strategy, no purpose. The Peace Hotel I planned to live in before became an Internet celebrity because of the flowers, I wanted to change to the secluded bustling Wukang Road. I arrived at the hotel by mistake on the road. I didn’t expect to be surprised by this Tai’an Road B&B that jumped out: an elegant French retro style small bungalow, the years are quietly hidden in the depths of the road. The key is that the sun is still sufficient. Wukang Road and Huaihai Road are within walking distance, not far from several large business districts: going out is the bustling place of Shiliyangchang, and closing the door is the current stable sun room, which completely reversed my prejudice against the city homestay. The hostess should be a very tasteful woman. If there are shortcomings, it is that the location is too good, shopping every day to the foot cramp. Mark it, stay it next time. ​
