I drove to the hotel and had contacted the owner in advance via WeChat, who confirmed that the parking was conveniently located very close by. I was highly satisfied with the hotel's service, location, and cleanliness. The owner also provided excellent tips for local sightseeing and dining. However, I definitely don't recommend driving in the city center. The roads are very narrow, electric scooters are everywhere, darting around and completely disregarding traffic rules, and finding a parking spot is almost impossible.

The hotel is conveniently located right behind the Post Office, and it's just a ten-minute walk to a small park. The front desk kindly upgraded me for free to a room with an openable window. As soon as I opened the door and saw a ray of sunshine in the room, I instantly fell in love with it. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet, and I had a peaceful night's sleep with no disturbances at all. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Despite being in the scenic area, the rooms are very quiet and equipped with a projector. The manager thoughtfully provided a detailed city walk guide beforehand. The rooms were impeccably clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. They sent a check-in guide in advance, responded to any questions instantly, and even recommended restaurants frequented by locals. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the experience far exceeded my expectations—five stars! The coffee was a bonus!

Wise choice, the experience of staying at the small park homestay is perfect! The location of the homestay is excellent. It is a small park full of fireworks within a few minutes of walking. The surrounding specialty snack bars, retro cafes, and cultural and creative shops are all over the place. You can also visit the lively night market at night. It is too convenient to experience local life in depth. The sanitary condition of the room is even more impeccable. You can feel the clean and tidy atmosphere as soon as you enter the door. The bed is soft and fluffy, the sheets are white as new, the bathroom has no water stains, and even the corners are spotless, making people live in a particularly reassuring place. All kinds of daily necessities are arranged in a well-organized manner, the quality of toiletries is also very good, and the details are full of care. The most heartwarming thing is the landlord's intimate service! From the beginning of the reservation, I patiently answered my various questions. When I checked in, I not only enthusiastically introduced the surrounding play guides, but also carefully reminded me of the precautions. I learned that I like to take pictures and took the initiative to recommend a few niche punching points. Location: On a quieter side of Xiaogongyuan Room: Excellent design, high quality finishings and I love the balcony Breakfast: Simple, satisfying and perfect home-cooked Teochew noodles, Orr Luak and fried eggs. Service: This is the winning factor and you see this in all the reviews. Everyone’s friendly and goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable. We ended spending more time at the hotel chatting with them rather than out. Jay’s restaurant recommendations was always on-point. He gave us interactive map of Shantou, helped us with transportation etc. Staying here is like staying at your friend’s home. Will definitely recommend this homestay. 10 out of 10 ❤️💯
