"Absolutely stunning property on a beautiful tea estate in Assam. My partner and I traveled here with our friends in late June 2026. We flew into and out of the ******** airport, and after a ~2 hr drive, we arrived at our oasis for the weekend. The staff at the hotel is top-notch - very attentive and accommodating. They were able to organize a tour of the tea garden and processing facilities with Koshik (so informative!). They also provided bikes for us to explore more of the surrounding 1,400 acre tea garden that surrounds the hotel. We stayed in the chalets and they rival some of the best accommodations we have stayed at around the world. Beautiful high ceilings, a large bathroom with a huge bathtub in the middle, and views overlooking the tea garden. Each morning was so serene - highlight of my stay was waking up early to watch the tea garden come to life with multiple cups of tea from the Merchants of the East tea provided in the room. Such a rejuvenating stay. I highly recommend!"

"We had booked it a day before and when we arrived the receptionist informed us that they donot have any room vacant in their hotel. They have other hotels and they can shift us there. And this happened when we reached at night at around 9pm However in the afternoon when we tried to confirm our booking no one informed us about this situation. They had 10 different numbers and most of them were not reachable. One number got connected and told us that we will get a call from the reservation team. And when the reservation staff called they said it's confirmed. After we reach hotel, they were playing the blame game between the reception and reservation team and not being helpful at all. They said their manager had informed the reservation team from Delhi (third party) that the hotel is full. And reservation team told us over call they didn't receive any update from manager. So unprofessional and so horrible experience. We had to argue for about half an hour and then they gave us a room which was booked by someone else and directed the other party to go to another hotel of theirs. We had to basically argue to get our own booked room from the hoteliers."

"Located in Tezpur and on the highway. Staff were good & premises were clean. Breakfast was amazing and food options are good. Appreciate about the rain cover/ canopy in the side entrance, expect the same in front area, too. It would be nice, if they have lift and use some room fresheners in the corridor/staircase area as it closer to the kitchen. Hope, kitchen utensil sounds & staff chat to be nominal in that area. Washroom was spacious but the commode position is in the corner, which made problem for comfortable posture."
