I was looking for a hotel suite on election night in Taiwan. I called many five-star hotels and got very indifferent service. Among them, Grand Hyatt even hung up my phone (maybe accidentally). Finally, I called Yadu Lizhi, and their phone service made people feel warm and trustworthy. After entering the stay, the service from check in to room service was very satisfactory, and they took the initiative to provide more free bottled water for my three children. Although the decoration of the room and restaurant is no longer novel and a bit old-fashioned, the quality is very good, and even the softness of the pillow is satisfactory. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, the music is very particular, although the buffet breakfast is not much, it still makes us have a pleasant Sunday morning. The only thing that is crippling is the air conditioner. I adjusted it a few times and I still feel bored. After all, it is a bit old hotel. But because the price is reasonable, I have no complaints.

Front desk generally is nice but not as welcoming as typical top hotel service in Japan. The checkin front desk staff is Japanese. Very kind and helpful. However, one concierge old staff is as cold and unfriendly as before. Actually, even a bit rude when I told him the hotel bag I received is broken and need to get a new one. He was so impatient and unwilling to change. After giving me the new bag, he turned his head and walked away. Really shocking to see such concierge at a 5-star hotel which claims Japanese warm service. He was like that when I stayed @ the hotel for 2 weeks a couple of years ago. The hotel is famous for its pastries and snacks. The best in town. I bought a lot as gift. The restaurants provide gourmet food as usual. One of the best in town that customers can trust. Some staff seems to have problem of getting instruction right but the receptionists and managers are always prompt to answer the call and serve very well.

The location was the best thing about this hotel! The rooms were clean and good. The service was just a bit disappointing. Even before arriving, I couldn’t seem to contact anyone through email, website or social media. I had to resort to calling international to confirm airport pickup. I spoke to Claire who efficiently made it happen but no apologies for never replying to my mails, no warmth in her voice - it was a preview of service onsite. True enough, we got to the hotel - they checked us in efficiently but I do not feel welcomed. Breakfast was good except again for service. The supervisor seem to be always upset when I ask something like I asked where we can get water - with her voice raised pointed at the table and said “There!” I felt stupid for not knowing! I guess I am just not used to being treated like this in a hotel. Not sure if this is because they have difficulty in speaking English so it was hard to interact? or culture differences? Maybe I had too high expectations because of the reviews I read and everyone received amazing service. The service level is consistently cold and disappointing in the 5 days we stayed. I will not choose to stay in this hotel again.

We chose this because it is located somewhere between ximending and xingyi district. It’s convenient to get a taxi. We have 12 paxs in this trip. When we reached on 1 Nov , it was pretty late, between 9pm - 10pm. All of us were very tired and kinda disoriented after a long day’s car ride. When we had alighted from our vehicles, immediately the bell boy told us not to block the hotel entrance. Our driver immediately told them we just reached and stood here for less than 5 minutes, how to check into the hotel without alighting the vehicles ? It was an unpleasant “welcome” experience. The hotel conceige staff also made mistakes when issuing our door cards. This hotel has its rules and regulations. If you want to have an easy going holiday experience, there are better ones.

The building itself is old, with a turnable key, and the inside is average, but if you just go home to sleep, it's clean and satisfying.

Ah, the room was showing its age, not bad but.......not enough outlets in the right places, many finishes need refreshing. Most notable, comfortable but small, quiet, as clean as it could be. The Taiwan special electric heated bidet style toilet seat, refreshing, welcome and puts USA toilets in 3rd or 4th place just above an outhouse with corn cobs for cleaning your backside. Hotel food was, fantastic. A buffet of fresh fish, vegetables, pork, beef and chicken. Shabu shabu for dining and cooking at the table. A steep but not objectionable price, (~$30 per head) Hagen Daz Ice cream, baked desserts, cheese cake. The steak served with the meal was small, maybe 2 oz and a little tough, but nice to see. The buffet room seats 75-100 people and was nearly full. Good to see. The service was excellent, no request went unfulfilled, all the staff was extremely responsive and made a great effort to speak English.

Because of visiting relatives, I returned to Taiwan at the end of November 2020, moved into Xinkai, and began to live in quarantine for 15 days for epidemic prevention. I believe that anti-epidemic hotels should provide high-quality WiFi and considerate meals to guests who cannot leave their homes. The biggest problem I encountered was that the WiFi would often disconnect for no reason, and it turned into a data plan where I paid for my phone calls. Being trapped in the room is already very helpless, and even the only communication channel to the outside world is unstable. As for the three meals a day, it is not required to include fruit, but it should not be fixed. A small box of fruit is included every Tuesday and Friday, and a box of egg fried rice is served as dinner that day. I was served like this three times. I also have friends who have experienced staying in anti-epidemic hotels. Compared with them, I paid nearly NT$40,000 for accommodation, which I feel is completely worthless.

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is convenient, just right beside Starbucks & 7-11 and few steps away from metro station. Love the self service laundry at level 2. Breakfast selection is okay but nothing impressive. Only downside is that front desk & lobby staffs should be more attentive and proactive in assisting customers who have difficulty accessing the heavy main door, especially those with big/heavy luggage and parents who ferrying young kids with stroller. There are many occasions where I find it difficult to access the main door with baby stroller and heavy luggage but no one seems ready to help. Not a single time. Not sure if this is their common SOP. Other than that, it’s all good.

Location of hotel was super. Our triple bed room was very spacious and clean. We had kettle for boiling water as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. The toilet is very clean and well maintain. Toilet seat very comfortable with seat warmer, something I like during the cold morning and also the warm water bidet. One thing the hotel should look into is to provide more hooks in the toilet / bathroom. Also a towel rail. When I was using the bathroom I can't find another hook to hang my towel and change of clothing. Overall, I am very happy with our stay there. Will choose this hotel for subsequent visit, if the price is right. Thank all the wonderful hotel staff and breakfast staff for making our stay a happy one.

Right beside the hotel is a supermarket of sorts which has everything you need from snacks to alcohol to shower products, and laundromat right opposite. This is an overdue review since I have stayed here numerous times over the years. As a miniature W hotel, this Aloft is chic and cozy with fabulous staff. For both business professionals and adventurous tourists, the location of this hotel is excellent. It is close to well known local shopping district (QingGuang market) which is hiding inside another famous night/day market (Shuanglian street market) as you exit through the glass back door. There is also a 24 hours convenience store (Family Mart) right by the hotel. The local bus stop (3 lines) is right at the front door and the closest subway station (Chongshang elementary school exit number 1) is only about 3 minutes walking on the same side of the street. If you want to taste the authentic ********* local delicacies from street venders, this is the best hotel to stay even though its own buffet breakfast on the 17th floor every morning is also delicious with both oriental and western dishes. It is also a good spot to watch the flights descending to the nearby Songshan airport. Taiwan is currently experiencing crisis in egg supply, but we still have eggs (both boiled and fried) on the buffet table as well as made for orders. There is also live performances at the W xyz bar at times with aspiring local artists. The friendly staff at the reception are pleasant and well trained. Unlike some of the larger hotels where we have to go to different counters for check in and concierge, etc. these energetic young people are simply jack of all trades from check in/departure, handling luggages, assisting incoming and outgoing mail/packages (speaking from my own experience at my very first stay here years ago) as well as knowing the city well enough to make suggestions as well as telling you which side of the street to get the taxi if you need to go to a specific destination in a rush. (Special thanks to Jackie!) And of course they will also call the taxi to pick you up at the hotel front door if you wish. On the 12th floor, there are only 7 rooms. The inside of the rooms are bright and well maintained, and it always feels like coming home each time I stay here. Highly recommended!

Very nice motel. It's only a 3-minute walk from Zhongshan Elementary School by MRT. In Taipei, at such a price, you can only stay in small hotels with small square meters or even no beds, but Weige Linsen Hotel does have a high CP value. Staff who can speak Japanese ... At my time, only Katakoto was there. I felt that the breakfast staff could do it better. It said, ”Toilet paper cannot be flushed,” and there was a large trash can next to the toilet. Amenity is minimal. PET bottle water and tea pack were placed as a service. In December, the air conditioner will be turned off when it is cold, and if it is still cold, they will lend you a blanket. Even if I turned off the air conditioner, it was cold. The toilet paper holder is not well installed and it is a little difficult to use, but it doesn't bother me for short stays. I stayed alone, but there was a large ２ room for people, and there were amenities ２ each. It is much larger than a small business hotel in Japan. The room cleaning is beautiful at first glance. (There was dust in the parts that were hard to reach for cleaning, and some box of garbage fell under the table next to the bed. Hair was sticking to the waterproof silicon in the bathroom.) The floor is not carpet, It was a flooring sheet. There was a full-length mirror, but it wasn't very useful because the position was bad, but it was better than nothing. The location is between Minquan West Road Station and Nakayama Kuniko Station on the Nakawa Shinro Line at the transfer station of the Tamsui Shinyi Line and the Nakawa Shinro Line of the Taipei Shotoku MRT, both of which took less than 10 minutes on foot. There are many convenience stores nearby, and the night market of the castle town behind the hotel is recommended. Especially I want to eat water dumplings again! Breakfast was simple with porridge, white rice, fried rice, soup 1 type, bread, fried *, bacon, milk, orange juice, raw vegetables, fruits, bananas and oranges. The banana was very sweet and delicious! The last day was a tour that left when I couldn't eat breakfast, so he prepared a sandwich.

The room is very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the MRT station. There is a ”supermarket” next door. You can buy some daily necessities and cosmetics. When my family arrived, the lobby was super crowded,(maybe due to new year) and a great place to take pictures. The room was quite big, but the toilet was quite dirty. The bathtub had brown stains, and the corners of the toilet were caked in mold. The hotel was connected to Taipei Main Station through Exit M6. There was a lift directly connected to room. We took a Tra train one stop to Rouhe night market, it was very convenient. Overall, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei was a nice place to stay in.

- Paid extra for a better room, Totally Worth It! Big and clean, but no view - Great location, easy access to the Taipei main station. I can get to anywhere easily. My Tainan friend caught a High Speed Rail to visit me, it was easy for her to get here - I would recommend to go straight up to the ground and drag your suitcase on the street with you if you are taking the Airport Express to Taipei station (Do not walk all the way to the MRT train closet exit because there are stairs) - I like the restroom, bathtub and shower. The Japanese washlet is fantastic because you cannot just throw toilet paper in the toilet in Taiwan - Bed is a bit too firm for me, personally prefer softer mattress - Breakfast has limited choices, I wish there are more - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was waiting for a shop to restock something, since I didn’t have a local number, I left the hotel number to the shop, and big thanks to Peggy for her help!!!

Location is on the main road with easy access to transportation. Bus/taxi stop is just a few meters away. Nearest train station is about 1-2 blocks away. Bed is soft and clean. Work desk is also provided in the room which was great. Mini fridge is also provided. Bath is equipped with hot and cold water. Basic toiletries - shampoo, bath, soap, toothbrush/paster provided. Condoms and lube were akso available.haha At the basement is a common area, where you can work - with free drinks and snacks! Staff were accomodating and friendly.

Considering the price for 2 beds and kinda spacious its a good deal na, also its just a few minutes walk to mrt Zhongshan elementary school theres also a night market nearby, 7 eleven and other shops, But if you prefer a more lively location like ximending dun ka. Overall everything was good, they also allow us to do early check in i think that was 30 minutes before our check in time plus self check in/out is available very convenient and easy to do.
