Fallow Field, Telford by Marston's Inns ★★★★
International Hotel Telford ★★★
"Nice stay with a good breakfast"
Days Inn by Wyndham Telford Ironbridge M54 ★★★
"This hotel is an international chain brand, located in the middle of the rest area of the highway. The rooms are standardized standard rooms. Parking is free, there is a store next to it where you can buy food, and there are charging piles for charging."
Mercure Telford Centre Hotel ★★★★
"Very nice staff and convenient location next to the shopping centre"
The Swan Taphouse ★★★
"After reading the reviews I was dreading coming to the hotel. We were originally booked into the malthouse but had to rearrange the dates, Ashley Manager at the malthouse very kindly rebooked us in at the swan hotel as there was no availability at the malthouse. Then I read the reviews, it's true stairs to the rooms are a little narrow and carpet a little worn. Our room however was lovely, overlooking the river severn. A large room , very bright, old beams. The room and bathroom were clean. The bath did have a handheld shower which isn't ideal however I was expecting this after reading the reviews and it wasn't a big deal. The location is perfect for the Ironbridge and a very short walk to shops and restaurants. We booked breakfast and that was at the malthouse a 2 minute walk away which was no bother and breakfast was very good. Good quality sausage and bacon and my husband upgraded to the gorge breakfast for £3 and it was huge. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was served promptly. We also ate lunch at the swan hotel, max who served us was really friendly and the food was really good. We will definitely return next year. A very pleasant stay. Big plus they have parking."
Ramada by Wyndham Telford Ironbridge ★★★
"Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and it made for a lovely visit after a long day at the snooker. I would definitely stay here again."
Travelodge Telford ★★★
"We had a accessible room which suited us fine, the bathroom was very clean the room thanks to Nicky it was a peasant stay my only gripe was there was on one chair ,where we really needed two- ,but for the price it was good ,and very close to the town centre"
Telford Central ★★★
"Fantastic team and great location. Ive stayed here a few times due to work and the staff here really know how to give great service. Nothing is ever too much. The room was spotless as it always is, and the cleaning staff are always so friendly. I chose to stay here because of the staff and I know I will get a clean room and good nights sleep every time."
Best Western Valley Hotel ★★★
"Stayed here for a 50th birthday celebration locally and so glad we did, the room was wonderfully located with beautiful views over Dale-End park and the river Severn. It was booked room only due to commitments so couldn’t comment on the food but the staff were very friendly and helpful and would highly recommend this hotel."

Viaduct Guest House
"We traveled for a work weekend ans stayed at Viaduct Guesthouse. Paul & Kay were so kind, attentive & accommodating throughout our stay. Lovely people running a great place to stay. We will be back."
The Malthouse
"The online photos of the room didn't match the actual room at all. We were supposedly staying in a Superior room, but I'm not sure what was superior about it. Don't stay on a Saturday night when the pub has live music, unless you want to go and enjoy the entertainment as the rooms are directly above and it is next to impossible to get any sleep till the music has finished. Added to this, the toilet kept flushing and wouldn't stop and the heated towel rail made gurgling noises all night. However, the bed itself was very comfortable and the breakfast (which was £10 extra per person) was perfectly reasonable. Overall though, go and find somewhere else."
Grove House Guest House
Foundry Masters House
"We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B and couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. The hosts, Danny and Dawn were absolutely lovely. Danny kept us smiling the whole time with his great sense of humour. The house itself is a quirky, characterful old property which added to the whole experience. Our room was spotlessly clean, with fluffy towels and plenty of hot water—everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The food home cooked, prepared and served by the hosts was a real highlight. The evening meal was outstanding, with a dessert that was truly to die for! Breakfast was just as impressive—plentiful, delicious, and a perfect start to the day. Overall, a fantastic stay with a great atmosphere, wonderful hosts, and amazing food. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to others"
Bridgeside Rooms
"If I could rate this property zero would. Maybe it's me, but when I pay £110 a night for accommodation I don't expect to have to walk 500 yards to drop of my luggage in the pouring rain. I don't expect to have to enter a code to enter the building, then enter another code to get the key to my room. And I certainly don't expect not being able to sleep because the headboard is infested with blood sucking bugs (see photos). Also be aware this is a room only property and no food is available."
The Queens at Horton
Hadley Park House Hotel
"Lovely hotel, very warm friendly staff, great vegan breakfast! (Little let down with hot water and lemon request when asked for tea/coffee but never turned up?) Wish I had dinner there, next time I will. Room was good but is looking like a bit of work is needed, ie bath seal could be redone and the shower glass rubber, slow draining, dead spider that’s been there since opening? Bed was comfy, WiFi was hit and miss, room unfortunately had rubbish on the floor next to bin/door (empty milk for tea) and also bin was not empty and had rubbish in it. Yes there’s parts that are not the greatest and mostly room related but doesn’t outweigh the great food, the great staff (maybe not so great cleaning staff?) and the great service received. Overall I would stay again."
YHA Ironbridge Coalport
"It is a brilliant experience. The hostel is near the museum and also Victoria Village. Be aware of the check-in time in Winter as it is an hour later than the closure of the nearest by museum."
Old Orleton Inn
"very good"
Heritage View Guest House
"Absolutely wonderful. The decore and facilities are exceptional - very tasteful and the room was well stocked - especially with lovely cake! Julie the host was a gem and could not have looked after our needs better. We had a lovely couple of days - unfortunately I did not check the opening times of the local museums etc. and until the end of March they do not open Monday and Tuesday so we missed out. However I would recommend this facility wholeheartedly - really a gem of a place."
White Hart Cafe Bar & Bistro
"The feeling of a country inn, small and cozy, very close to the iron bridge, more than 100 meters,"
The Ironworks Aparthotel
"booked the Ironworks Aparthotel for 4 nights. I selected this venue because the rooms seemed spacious, the location was relatively close to the conference I was attending and the price seemed reasonable. The Ironworks Aparthotel team have tried to think of so many ways to put the customer first and anticipate their needs. Firstly, the reservation process was simple and straightforward. I did not have to pay for the room straight away and I received a reminder that payment was due close to specified time indicated in during the reservation process. I received my check-in details the day before arrival. This process was easy also consisting of a key code for the main entrance and a numbered lockbox for my room. The room (5) I was given was very well appointed as shown in the pictures. The rooms appear to be as indicated by the photographs on the website. It consisted of a kitchen (complete with dishes, cups, glasses, refrigerator, small hob, air fryer, soaps, dishcloths, etc); everything needed to make yourself breakfast in the morning or a meal in the evening. The only downside is that this particular room did not really have a comfortable place to sit and eat the meal (it looks like other rooms are larger and have a designated space for that). The room was very nicely decorated with calming grey, green, blue colours throughout. The furniture looked new with lots of cupboard and storage throughout. The shower was clean and nice. Whilst the shower pressure was good enough, the temperature was hot and you didn’t have to wait long. So it came as complete surprise to me that the bed was so awful. The foot of the mattress was higher than the head (I wish I had taken a photo), and when I sat down, I just sank. The bed was very soft and unsupportive. The pillows on the other hand were great - thick and comfortable. But sadly, 3 nights on poor mattress was all I could take. When I expressed direct feedback to the Aparthotel team after I left, this was the response I got back (within a couple of hours)… “I do wish you had let me know, we really are here to help and do care and prepared to put things right, whatever it is. We always would greatly appreciate the opportunity to put it right. I have a local mattress supplier who could have delivered a king mattress the same day and we would have had the bed remade the very same day. This will now happen on Monday and no one will stay in that room until it’s been replaced. It’s a small business that we’re truly very proud of and we’re genuinely pleased that you’ve let us know.” Having read this, I regret not reaching out to them to see if they have could fixed the problem. They are there to help and based on this response, I would recommend this place and encourage anyone who stays here to call them if you have any issues at all. They really want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In fact I plan on booking again should I be in this area. They have done a really good job."
