The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

This super beautiful hotel looks like a palace from a distance, and the interior is even more beautiful, showing the designer's intentions in every aspect. All the staff are very hospitable and everyone has a smile. The executive lounge is open five times a day, with cocktails and red wine every night. The breakfast is rich and there are many famous Tianjin snacks. The pancakes and fruits taste particularly good and the supply exceeds demand. Overall, we are very satisfied.

St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

A wide variety of breakfasts, new room facilities, comfortable beds, and overall excellent value for money was a very satisfying experience. Great location, near subway, shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to needing a refurbishment, some areas a bit faded but overall comfortable and clean. Breakfast is currently being delivered to the rooms as restaurant is closed. The breakfast we had was quite good but no choice involved. Would stay here again.

This city trip, a total of three nights, changed three hotels. Suddenly encountered cooling, this hotel stayed the longest. The room is hygienic and relatively large. I took three children alone and didn't feel crowded. In the public space, there is a very good space to read and rest. Like the relaxation brought by the hotel. Good choice hotel. Can easily get to places of interest from here. Cheap and clean hotel. Counter staff are helpful, cleaner are friendly and done a gd job. Clean room n aircon are new n quiet. Only not suitable for light sleeper as it near road n can clearly hear everything outside. Very near to jinwan square metro. You will be very surprise that their local esp those metro staff are not familiar with their area. The staff direct me to Heping metro which took me 15-20 mins walk to this hotel. Instead, jinwan metro station is just 2 mins walk from this hotel. Behind hotel there's a bridge which you can access to a long river and walk to 古文化街。 Along the bridge you can see their local senior life are so relaxing. Singing karaoke, dancing and fishing....i

The smart experience is very good. Looking at the subway entrance, I took the high-speed rail to the South Station. Line 3 is a direct ride of about 30 minutes. It is very convenient! The hotel itself is also located in Jinwan Plaza and adjacent to Tianjin Station. It is very lively at night! The service attitude of the hotel ladies is also superb. During this trip, my favorite hotel was this one. From check-in to check-out, the ladies at the front desk provided very good service. The facilities in the room were also very comfortable. The mattress was soft and the shower was very comfortable. Moreover, the location of the hotel was also very good. Convenient, there are many delicious restaurants and scenic spots nearby. Tianjin Lishunde Apartment, the service is very warm and polite, the room is large, the windows are also large, the window is the Haihe River, the scenery is also good. One bed is 1.5 meters and the other is 1.35 meters, which is very comfortable for a family of three. It's just that the bathroom facilities are a bit old, the nozzle can't be taken off and it's broken. I thought I would just stay one night and make do with it, but it was too late and I couldn't ask the master to come and fix it. Suggestion: Next time, the cleaning staff can check it before guests check in, and tell the engineering department in advance to come and repair it. Otherwise, it will be inconvenient for us to come back very late from listening to cross talk like we did. There is also a kitchen, which is nice to have a refrigerator. You can buy some cold drinks on ice in the summer, and there are relatively few tableware. There is Qixian Supermarket nearby, which can deliver goods, which is very convenient! There are no restaurants nearby. If you want to eat breakfast at a time-honored restaurant, you have to take a taxi. The nearest Zhensucheng is about 1.5 kilometers away.

I really appreciate the very strategic location, it's just few hundred metres away from many famous attractions, such as little Italy. Or if you're looking for halal food, there are many muslim restaurants too. It's also very near to station too, the hotel's room is on 37 to 51 fl, really help with the magnificent views. Staffs are friendly, room's clean, nothing to complain about. I strongly recommend this hotel, as myself would definitely go back here.

An old hotel suitable for both business and vacation. I chose it again during the holiday and it was still comfortable. The location is opposite Hebei Road on Wudadao. The night view on the street side is invincible. It is located near the scenic spots and it is very convenient to take a taxi to other attractions. The room is large and bright, the bedding is fluffy and comfortable to sleep, and the pillows are one buckwheat and one down; the bathroom is also relatively flush when it rains, and there are bathrobes, all of which are very new. The sound insulation in the room is not bad, especially the windows, but you can still hear people talking in the corridor, which means that the door sealing needs to be strengthened. The service is also good. The waiters are polite but not too enthusiastic. In general, it is a good choice for short-term visits to Tianjin.
