Terrific newish hotel in the top 4 floors of an office building. About 320 t0 30 minute walk to Shibuya, Ginza or Harajuku or 2 minutes to the metro station. The metro is easy to use as instructions are in a lot of lanuages and you can pay with coins, notes or cards. We paid a little extra and were in a larger corner room with 180 degree views. Free generous minibar refilled each day. Staff were tops. There is a Japanese restaurant on the second floor which is independent of the notel. Excellent and fair prices. Breakfast was part of our package and it well above average. If you have bags or cant handle stairs ask the taxi to go into the basement from where you access the hotel with ease Tokyo is not cheap but I will certainly be back here

It may be a bit boring if you eat it for two more days. Freshly baked bread will be served. Come here and let me choose, but they are all shortening and French tart, which are quite greasy. Several kinds of homemade yogurt are good. The puddings are all sweet. When I ordered on the first day, I ordered pancake as the main dish, which was relatively normal. The waffle that came with the second day was also shortened. The chocolate after housekeeping is delicious. There are two kinds of dark chocolate and milk chocolate. The hotel’s chocolate lobby restaurant also sells it. It's not too far away from Roppongi Tower. It's about 1.00km or 10.20 minutes walk. You can see the night view of Tokyo Tower from a distance.

Absolutely top-notch service although the hotel is a bit old but they maintain the whole environment as if you were arriving at a brand new opening hotel in 70s. Almost as if you were walking through the history of time where the service is still at its excellency. It’s amazing! Those elderly women who work as janitor is also super professional. It seems like they work there since the hotel opening. Super nice Buffett and a great ambience of miniature garden in the center of hotel hallway. It’s merely a great experience staying here!

This was our second trip to Japan within the past 5 years. Previously, we stayed at a budget hotel which was cramped and small compared to American hotels. For this reason, we decided to splurge and I'm so glad we did. Splurge on the deluxe room if you value space and comfort. It not only made a huge difference, but it made our stay even better. The deluxe room comes with a walk- in closet, huge bathroom, and the room itself was big enough for a King bed and sitting area with a couch and chair. The staff provided excellent customer service at all times. The hotel is not that close to a train station so be wary of that, especially if you have heavy luggage. Also, this hotel is huge and navigating it takes time before you know where to go and how to get to the area's local restaurants and train stations. The hotel grounds have a beautiful Japanese garden with waterfall which rivals some parks. The only criticism I have about our stay is dining. As do all hotels, this one charges a huge price to dine on-site. You have access to local restaurants that are within walking distance for half the price. If you want to save money do a little research online and dine off-site. There are plenty of options around the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be recommending the New Otani to friends and family. The staff in the Zen Lounge could not have been more helpful from start to finish. We booked three rooms and one room was upgraded. This made all of the difference to our stay. The room was spectacular!! The garden was beautiful and the restaurants/ shops in the hotel were very good. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the Tokyo train stations. I would recommend all of the staff we came across during our stay. They were all superb, so polite and nothing too much trouble. We loved our stay at the New Otani.

Very good hotel, I will stay there again if I have the chance. The view from the front desk is very good, overlooking the Meiji Jingu Baseball Stadium next to it. There happened to be a baseball game during the few days I stayed. Although I didn't understand the rules, the atmosphere was pretty good. There is Lawson on the first floor of the hotel. I often buy boxed apple juice and drink it. The apple juice is very popular. There is a large public bath in the hotel. If you go there early or late, there will be no crowds and it will be very comfortable. I especially like the bubble pool, and I feel exhausted.

Location is a 6 min walk from the Akasaka Station. With different restaurants and convenient shops nearby. Hotel staff and nice but the room is a bit small, just enough if you have two suitcases. The duvet was filthy. Ventilation was bad as well, A/C control didn't change any of that, had to open the window at the end. I don't think I will come back again

After staying in so many five-star hotels, the store is very satisfied, very clean and orderly. I have never been able to experience the capsule hotel, this is really good. Room was just enough for two suitcases. The view from the terrace was great. Easy to get around with just few stations to the Tokyo central area.
