Self-check-in was super convenient, with an option to select your preferred language. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. I was originally planning to go to Japan for my birthday, and the room number I received happened to be my birth month and day, which really made my day! (Emotional value maximized). There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, and if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 2 minutes, you'll find Matsuya. If you walk behind the hotel for 5 minutes, there's also Sukiya. The hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from Shinjuku subway station.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its absolutely fantastic location! It's connected to Takashimaya via a skybridge, Newoman is right downstairs, and Isetan is within walking distance. You can pretty much walk to the entire core Shinjuku shopping district, making shopping a breeze. It's really convenient for carrying heavy bags back to the hotel without getting tired. For pure shopping and sightseeing, staying here offers great value for money. Since the hotel rooms start from the 20th floor, the views are also excellent. The downsides are also quite noticeable. The hotel is showing its age, and the room facilities feel a bit dated, only meeting basic accommodation needs. What I really disliked was the breakfast. The variety wasn't extensive, and on weekends, they stop serving promptly at 10 AM. The rules are very rigid. Even if you're just 3 minutes late, there's absolutely no flexibility or alternative arrangements. The service lacks a human touch and is very unfriendly to guests who like to sleep in, especially those dealing with jet lag. In summary: It's a great choice if you're purely focused on location and shopping. However, if you care about breakfast quality, room modernity, and service details, there are many other options in the area.

Overall, the hotel has a very nice environment. Considering the price I paid, getting this kind of four-star hotel experience in the Shinjuku area is really good value for money. The rooms are relatively small, but this is quite common for hotels in Japan. Getting around is still convenient, and even on rainy days, walking through the underground passage to Shinjuku Station is not a problem. There are FamilyMart, Lawson and Mini Mart stores right downstairs, which is very convenient for getting late-night food, drinks and souvenirs. The hotel lobby also provides a good selection of toiletries that guests can take freely. They are quite generous with the complimentary amenities. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

My stay at KoKo Hotel Shinjuku Yotsuya was excellent! The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's location is superb, just a 3-minute walk to the subway station, allowing for efficient travel to Shinjuku and other parts of Tokyo. Downstairs, along the street, there are plenty of ramen shops, izakayas, and casual eateries, offering a wide variety of dining options for all three meals. A convenience store is also very close by, making it easy to get around and find food. It's definitely my top choice for a trip to Tokyo.

Location is 15 mins to Shinjuku station but along the way quite a lots to see. I’m enjoy the price offered for this location and distance. Laundry a bit expensive with 600 yen for 1kg. The location is next to night clubs too (you can choose to walk to Shinjuku station with other street) and worst is the hotel signboard is not obvious as it is small and in front of the hotel, , comparing to others to put up big and tall at the junction. You will easily miss it as I have walked back 3 times and finally found it by looking for white building

Might be one of the best cityview hotels in Tokyo. For anyone looking to enjoy an incredible night/ day city view experience and u might be able to see Mount Fuji ! Then this is definitely the place to stay. The location is also very convenient, situated close to most of the main shopping areas in Shinjuku. The only downside is that the hotel is located right next to a train station, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs for better sleep quality. That said, the hotel service was truly exceptional easily one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Special mention to the amazing team for making the stay even more memorable.

When I booked, I chose the twin room because it looked spacious, and my stay exceeded expectations. First off, the front desk seems to be 24-hour. We stayed one night, left early at 7 AM the next day for another city, and were able to store our luggage with the front desk service before heading out. It was convenient to come back and check in again the following day. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, just a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku-sanchome subway station, 5 minutes from the LV boutique, and directly across the street from Isetan department store. Shinjuku Station is less than a 10-minute walk away. This location perfectly met our needs for both countryside excursions and shopping. The twin room we booked was larger than typical Japanese hotel rooms. It had a small area for luggage and another room with two beds and a table. Plus, there was a washing machine and a microwave, which was incredibly handy. The price wasn't too expensive either, around 1300 on weekdays and 1500 on weekends, making it excellent value for money.

This hotel is super convenient! It's right by a subway station and a convenience store. It's also really close to central Shinjuku, and you can walk to Kabukicho Ichibangai in just over 10 minutes. Self check-in is a breeze, and you can store your luggage here too. Plus, you can grab complimentary toiletries and bath amenities from downstairs. There are also a few small restaurants right across the street, which is really handy for meals.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. The airport shuttle is right across the street, and everything you need is just downstairs. The room was small but clean and comfortable, and I especially loved the unique bathroom with its minimalist and tidy design. It was a bit pricey, but my child loves Godzilla, so we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
