The were no blankets ,the bathroom lock is broken and they have kept local goons to get guests to pay extra . The owner lives in foreign and has zero manners they don’t know how to provide basic amenities and only know how to loot people . Would rather stay at a railway station than here again ."

"What can we say to add to the last review: it is everything mentioned there, and more. I think the word “charm” sums up Sajjoys perfectly from the decor and size of the hotel to the team who helped to make us so welcome and feel at home - the perfect blend of efficiency and friendliness. The food was extremely good, prepared by a chef who certainly knows how to cook Indian and fusion food. The Ayavedic treatment on offer was superb and run by Dr Divya, a doctor of Ayaveda, who most certainly knows how to help solve health issues. Thank you to Pravi and all your wonderful team: so sad to say goodbye, but, hopefully, see you all again."

"Loved this place! Binu gave a very warm welcome and was very helpful during my stay. Varlala Villa is spotlessly, clean, comfortable, quiet and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. They only have 4 rooms. My room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. There is a kitchen for use with a fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and drinking water. Really enjoyed my stay."

Only 300 meter walking distance from the cliff to this facility. We can take a auto from varkka railway station and we can get on this property. Safe and good place for couples and family"

"Sweet staff, good food, clean room: everything else was betweeen below average and disgusting: flies in resteraunt badly kept premises booze bottles and plastic cups laying around at night - not cleaned till 8 am pool looks clean - water tastes wierd towels from the night before lying on floor in the mud walkway to beach : never cleaned littered with plastic ugh- never coming back"

"Horrible experience with this hotel. They denied us room at 6:30 PM and the staff misbehaved. They did not even contact us before denying us the room, we booked 20 days in advance. They could have provided us with the next available room but the greedy management asked us for money or asked us to leave the property as if we are beggars. Strict action should be taken against the property as guest from all over the country might face the same issue again."

"The best thing about this resort is its location. Right on the cliff adjacent to the sea.. just a few steps to the beach. A small pool which is good for kids and people who don't know how to swim. The rooms are not worth the price. Service is not good. The room doesn't even have a phone to contact the reception. They gave a mobile number.. mostly no one picks the call.. The breakfast is just average.. any two dishes and curry, bread butter jam, cornflakes, boiled egg, tea coffee.. that's it.. for which sometimes you have to wait for a long time.."

"I went with my wife in January and we planned to go again this time with our three kids. The property Manager Mohammed made things so smooth and easier for us. Room was nice and clean. Place is very close to beach and far enough to be away from loud music and foot traffic. We stayed in back building this time but personally would prefer front building for next time. We had no issues with guest house or service but were disturbed by some guests who were loud and noisy through out the night. I wish something could have been done about this as we were unable to get good sleep and felt bit disturbed because of the loud music and noise by fellow guest. Rooms are spacious enough and as mentioned if you have doubts or issues, just approach Mohammed (manager). I’m sure he would take care of everything for you and make sure you have wonderful trip. And please don’t forget to try their amazing home cooked breakfast."
