"I learned about The Proctor Mansion in December 2023 after attending a screening of The Spirit of Christmas which was filmed there. PS If you haven’t seen the movie you are missing out. We decided to gift an overnight stay to our family friends for a girls weekend. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish. Derry was a great host and Katharine served a delicious breakfast in the morning. It was so fun to stay in the Peach room where many of the film scenes took place. Can’t wait to go back."

"First, there was just one luggage cart for the entire hotel. Then the bathroom light wasn’t working. But the worst was the secret rate hike. The app (yes, I was a regular — a gold member), quoted the price at $143 a night. I booked for three nights and they charged me $243 a night and have continued to lie about it. I have spent eight hours on the phone, but it looks like I’m out $400, with taxes and fees. I will never stay at another Hilton property. Always take a screenshot of the advertised price when you book with these crooks."
